For what is available in the market today it seems like the LT 2.5 is insanely over priced for what you get. I don't think you see a lot of reviews for it because a lot of people fell out of love with it - fast - with the problems and amp limits on the first generation model. It kind of shot itself in the foot and never recovered a following.

I've had a VAMO V2 for a good half year and have had no problems with it. I know the complaints are out there about the alleged "soft" 510 connector but you can ruin the threading on any device if you gorilla it enough. Not been a problem on mine.

If you do get a VAMO one suggestion though: Only get it in stainless steel. The chrome platings are crap and will start wearing through in a matter of weeks.

Lotta love on ECF for the MVP 2. For the sheer number of units sold there are very few complaints about defective units. And when there are electronics problems they tend to show early into ownership, well within a return period.

I have only been vaping for 2 months now as has my husband I started on an ego and quickly upgraded to the MVP, then the Innokin 134 and just got my Provari a week ago, I in fact got two reg size with 18650 cap and then I got a provape 1. My husband started on the provari but has also gotten a vamo v3, cool fire 2, VTR and another provari he likes that the best. For what you do work wise I would go with a provari if you drop the other mods on a shop floor they will most likely shatter so far the only thing to best a provari is a lawn mower. Just my opinion I wish I hadn't wasted the money on the other devises that I did.

I have the lavatube for about a week or so and so far, its been great. Got mine at a cape shop for about 60$ less than the vendor site. Gives me the hit strength I have been craving. Zmax was the mod I had before and I had nothing but bad luck, but couldn't prove the misfires to the sales team at the cape shop since it was intermittent. Those missfires came within a week of getting it. Like you, I wanted a mod with multiple buttons since my exp with zmax was either it worked, didn't or scrolled through the menu doing whatever it wanted while I'm sucking on the tip like an oblivious fool. Buttons are tight, on the lavatube, but the fire button is a little wobbly. Not sure which model of tube I got. Its got just the big button so I assume its 2+. The store owner said she was trying it out and was the only one she had.

Had the magma, inferno and lava tube v1 and v2. The gears were overpriced but I didn't know any better at the time. I think what bit me the most was the cost of parts that needed routine replacements. Take the bottom coil atomizer for instance. $4 a piece at Volcano but the market price for these thing is about $1-$2 at most. Multiply that by 96 for year worth of replacements between me and my gf and it adds up quick. Same sort of deal for their ejuice, cartomizers, tanks, etc they sell. In the end the the on-going maintenance cost hit me harder than their device premium. This is the main reason I don't recommend volcano gears to my friends and co-workers anymore. I want them to go digital AND save more money. If you know enough about ecigs and just want the device I think that's reasonable. But new folks tend to go all-in on one brand until they get the hang of things.

The other thing about volcano is its hard to find compatible 3rd party tanks. Take kanger mini for example. Doesn't fit on inferno because it has proprietary threading on the outside. If I use the protank 2 it screws on but inferno covers the vent holes so it doesn't work. Want to flush mount any device on lavatube? It's near impossible. Stuff like this kept me trapped in volcano universe for longer than I wanted. Another reason why I don't recommend their gear to new folks.
