This is only my third order from LF and maybe I got spoiled by the first two experiences which were very quick. My current order is just sort of sitting there with no apparent action and an inquiry regarding a product return has gone unanswered. I would never intentionally order something that was out of stock so I would hope that is not the case.

Just thinking that maybe they celebrate Chinese new year or something:)

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hey, that's an out of stock issue, you should have a mail from Ty. I would imagine it is the eGo T stuff, that is at 0 stock I believe.

Thank you for your reply and time. I am sure it is quite a task to keep up with all that is involved in running a busy establishment.

One thing I would like to suggest though is that you take a look at your process that is used to fill orders that have been placed by your clients. On your web site the clients see a number under the STOCK column that leads one to believe that is the available quantity in stock. At this point if the client orders that in stock product it should be allocated to the clients order and removed from the stock count shown to other customers and should be shipped to the customer placing the order when the stock count showed a number greater than zero....that would be me, as I would never order anything that is out of stock because waiting for a slow boat from China doesn't meet my needs.

I did find the items that I need to meet my requirements and schedule however I did spend more on shipping than the actual products that I needed. In shopping other sites I found that many either do not permit the purchase of out of stock items or at least alert the client to the the situation, while on your site the stock counts do not seem to be of any value to the clients purchasing decisions.

I would really consider canceling the order I placed with you but I can't imagine the nightmare that would create. Please look at your order fulfillment process as First In First Out is still a good plan.

It's nothing personal but I found that shopping at Walmart because they have the lowest prices is not always a rewarding experience.

Thanks

Really? That's odd. I've never experienced this. I found that their stock number always reflects the number of items in stock, and whenever it's greater than zero, the site lets you place an order. When the stock number is zero, the ordering box disappears and you can't place an order.

YEP...

And Art... You should have received a phone call, email, or both from me. I generally give people a couple of days to respond, before doing anything else.
I'll get in touch with you Monday, and we'll get this sorted.

What I've seen, those of us who fill their cart over a week or three, do risk having had put the item in the cart when it was in stock - but when I hit place order, it might not be any more. I generally just check the stock levels of anything I'm ordering now, right before I hit order.

I can see the reason of the current system not taking it out of stock - as I have in the past, I put items in my cart, but may not hit order for a week or more. This would tie up their stock for possibly weeks, without receiving an actual order. So, I definitely understand not changing that...

The sytem is pretty simple, we should never really have out of stock issues but they happen, there are many reasons. How the system works :

1) We get stock, count it and add to the website
2) Customer buy the stock, the count is reduced for each item they purchase
3) At zero, no more can be bought

If returns etc do not go through the system then the count will be wrong, the system is fine if the count is accurate.

That's weird. I could have sworn I saw at least 19 ego-t black kits when I placed my order on Saturday, yet my order status states "checked out" and I haven't received any email stating that the ego-t kits are out. The only reason I placed my order with you guys is because it looked like you had the stock on hand. Here's my order #21335, please let me know what's going on with the order.

Ah, at the very least I know where my parts went now.:(

With no contact or resolution in this matter I am beginning to feel uneasy about this transaction.

Perhaps you missed, but looks like the Salty one had replied here - maybe things just got crazy being a Monday and all. Have you tried to PM him here today, to let him know you're waiting? Or email him? Check your junk mail folder, etc?

EDIT: Also, before jumping to conclusions - looks like what he ordered was kits, were you ordering black kits, or black attys? That's a possible difference there, as well..

CHECK YOUR EMAIL SILLY.

or why dont you call me?

Ive tried to reach you on several occasions.

Silly? A person trying to get value for their money paid out is deemed silly by you?

My email works fine and I have had previous communications from LF through both of my email accounts in the past, but none of those communications addressed this current issue. You may be trying to contact someone other than me?

The reason that I don't call you is that I certainly can't see investing further expense into a transaction that has already cost me money with no expected return.

At this point I would like to cancel my order and have Liberty Flights reverse the charges on my credit card. Can you do that for me? The charges to my credit card were made at light speed, hopefully the same will occur with the credit to my account.

I too have to pay this foreign currency exchange fee on each transaction and do not care for it. I would suggest that your company is not ready for prime time, yet.

Thank you.

My understanding of the foreign currency exchange fee is dependent on which bank you use and because Liberty Flights is a UK based company you may get charged with it. You may want to take this up with your bank. I live in Canada and have made a purchase and was not charged this extra fee as my bank does not charge for this.

Now I will ask you Kufu is it really that hard to give TY a call? Same Time Zone. I have unlimited calling in North America so you may want to contact your phone company and see what calling packages they have to offer (unlimited long distance). It took two weeks for my package to arrive (no fault of LF) and I contacted Ty once in regards to the tracking not updating and he quickly replied.

LF is more than ready for prime time but every now and again :censored: happens. Best of luck and I hope everything works out for you.
