Is Menthol that Tough?

I recently purchased 2 eliquids, 1 was called "555-Menthol" the other "Super Menthol". Both of these were horrible. The 555-Menthol tasted rancid, like very old cooking oil, the other Super Menthol had a "null" taste, it tasted like nothing.

I have wasted so much money on eliquids that are like the above, borderline vomit inducing, or the taste is does not even resemble what it claims.

I was a Ultra Light Menthol smoker, I would like that flavor. At this point I am open to suggestions, these sites "claiming" menthol it appears have never smoked one before.

Oh, btw, the Best Flavor I have found, Atomic Fireball, WOW that stuff is good.

Have a friend that likes the menthol from iVape, but she likes it because it tastes like spearmint gum.

Tastes like spearmint to me, also...it was quite good, but not exactly 'mentholish' (is that a word???).

i tried the methol 16mg nic at madvapes and its good for me but everyone taste buds are different so idk....but the menthol's definitely and pretty strong...but still liked it...its under china liquids....

If you are just now quitting cigarettes it may take a while for your taste buds to adjust. I too was a menthol smoker and I've tried many. Mostly I've been getting menthol juice from FreedomSmokeUSA I usually ask for extra flavor. You can also order menthol flavoring which is concentrated and you can then add a few drops to increase the menthol flavor. But I caution you not to go overboard. Finding a juice is probably the most difficult part of switching to e-cigs.

You may find after several weeks if you go back and try the juices you disliked they might taste better then when you first tried them.

+1 on the Madvapes chinese menthol. I use it as my all day vape now. The only two problems with it is it sells out quick so you have to watch the site for it and it occasionally gives me heartburn. I tried the top vapor minthol also and wasn't impressed.

Both of the former menthol smokers I know made the switch easily after giving up the quest for a menthol cig like flavor.

One is now stuck on Blueberry Muffin and the other on Spearmint Gum.

As you discovered with AC, going away from what you first suspect may be your best bet.

Mezzum I too am on the quest for the perfect menthol, all of us have very different tastes and I know you have already tried a bunch probably but I stopped by Madvapes a couple of days ago and picked up a few samples of all of their menthol flavors. I was a Camel Menthol Silver smoker with the 'cool burst' so I am used to a very strong cooling hit which I am still searching for but the Madvapes Menthols are decent flavors, I've ordered some Menthol Drops, and Crystals, from Blue Mist to add to the Madvapes juice to see if that gives me the cool I need.

Long story short, they have a few different ones, $2 for the sample size, gotta be worth a try and their shipping is fast.

I was a Misty Menthol Light smoker and all menthol juice I tried tasted like mouthwash! I finally found PureCig Menthol at FSUSA and it got me off analogs for good! All of FSUSA tobacco flavors are available in a menthol version and their menthol is not a minty mouthwash type and is very subtle, more like the real thing. I also love their New/Port which has a bit of sweetness to it!

I wonder if you can find unflavored Halls menthol cough drops to suck on while vaping? It would be an interesting experiment...
