ok so ive noticed every now and then ill unscrew my tank and the battery top will have a drop or two of e juice in it. im assuming this isnt good for the battery. i use an vision spinner now but im getting my first mech mod in a few days so im slightly concerned for my mech mods because well....lack of safety

how can i prevent this from happening. also if it helps i make my own juice, maybe i could use a higher vg ratio? add in a "flavor wick" (i rebuild) could this damage my battery? what about when i get into mechanicals? i just noticed it because i was investigating the lack of vapor production and i found this.

that top part is sealed so a drop or two should not kill the battery...

keep taking a drag for about one second after you let off the power button. that liquid is most likely condensation. dragging for about one second after you let off the power button will clear out any remaining vapor and help prevent the build up of condensation.

The connection is sealed from the battery so a little juice won't hurt it. Just a dab with paper towel or qtip will clean it up. I usually take my toppers off about once a day and clean the connection from juice and I haven't had ant issues. If you are worried with a mechanical just blow into the 510. If no air goes through its fine, if it does, return it as defective. Honestly, I don't think there are any that are meant to be unsealed

ok thanks i have to try that out. good to know my mech mod will also be sealed off so a little liquid wont hurt. silly question then but what exactly is a leak? ive filled my tank a little high before and had to wipe juice out of the airhole so that might be it?

The answers to that one depends on what type of tank you are using. Are you talking about a carto tank? Or a clearo?
