hey guys, i have a g-priv mod with a tfv12, coil resistance is .12 ohm, my batteries are 2 samsung 25r (2500mah 20a) and im worried because of the 20a, im used to mech mod and i would never use those batteries with a mech mod but is it safe for me to use them with a regulated box mod and a .12ohm tfv12m coil? please answer fast im worried a bit;)

yup, should be fine...

Just don't go crazy with the wattage really... the mod does all the work and it's goal is not to tax/push the batteries beyond their capacity, but as those are good batteries, no problem.

Worse case, if your batteries are too low, the mod will not fire and give you a "low battery" message.

I don't have a G-Priv, but just got some predators that show the Amp when fired, and at the standard 45W we use with our tanks, we hit about 9A... so not even close to the rate 20A of the HG-2 we use.

The G-Priv does show the Amp levels... just check it out, but note that this is the Amp from the board, not directly from the battery.. there's a bit of scientific magic in how a regulated mod works, which converts the output of the battery, does a conversion that can push more wattage that you would, should you be using a mech...(basically it's a DC to DC conversion that increases the voltage to increase the wattage) That said, if your mod can't get the power to push the Amp needed, it simply will lower the wattage.

well the g-priv do show the Amp, and at 150-200w (good wattage for tfv12) it draws around 40 amp, my samsung 25r are only 20amp... wont they blow up or anything?
