Just purchased a 900mah eGo-T Passthrough battery...

Used it a little bit... was at the grocery store and noticed something in my pocket was warm

Taking the battery out, the damn thing was warm (didn't use it for about an hour before that)).. so a little concerned i unscrew the carto, turn it off with the 5-click, went home and set it down in the table to cool.

I return 20 minutes later and it's still very warm, much warmer than body temp.. now I'm pretty concerned so I manually cool it down with a bag of frozen veggies..

This is where it gets weird... once the entire thing was pretty cool, i took away the veggies.. it slowly started to warm back up.. it seems to be coming from 1 spot on the battery.. opposite of the button, about a half inch below where the metal ends and the body begins..

Basically, is this normal at ALL? I'm no expert but if there's heat there must be energy being released somewhere, right?

Is this thing safe to use? My other kit is a 510, got the ego passthrough to use while at computer.

going to put it in a pot outside until it cools then ship it

I went ahead and ordered a riva lite bundle from liberty flights.... i wasn't using the damn passthrough function anyhow and i've heard good things about the riva.

Excellent choice, one of my faves:)

I was using a Smok Tech 2.0ohm carto about 30 minutes before this all went down.... mind you the vendor recommended these cartomizers when I bought this battery.. Not sure if the 2.0ohm resistance ruined it (Tons of people use 2.0ohm, don't they? I thought it was anything lower that is unsafe.)

Went outside today and opened the pot.. the 900mah battery that had a full charge last night is now dead..definitely something wrong with it, at least it's safe to mail back now.
