Is my battery dead?

I just ordered a new kit. I placed the battery on the charger and the LED was green. I left it for a few hours and came back.

I took it off and it's blinking. I tried my other battery and when I put it on it turns the LED on the charger red.

I tried multiple times, but this one batter blinks every time I push the button and when I put it on the charge the LED is green.

Being it's a new setup, try cleaning both the battery and charger ends. Next try raising the enter post a little to make sure it is making contact.
