Just curious if anyone has shipping notification from Vaporshark yet on their new dna 40's? I pre ordered mine on the 15th, ship date was supposed to be the 28th, but I heard they were delayed. I'm hoping to find more info today.

Idk if you guys noticed, but they did announce that they're delaying it slightly, because they're swapping the screw-door with a magnetic one.
It would be best to call them, but I have heard it will be another week before shipping starts, if that.

come to think of it, that's a pretty significant last second change. Why wasn't that thought of earlier than the day before my ship date, aaaargh.
Agreed, and not really something I would have been upset about missing out on. I mean, it has a rechargeable port, I don't even need to remove the battery that often.
Companies in the vaping world just love to early announce their products to build up the hype behind it and start preorders early so that they can spend the money on creating more devices to preorder. At least that's my theory. I mean ultimately that's not too bad if they weren't being so transparent about it.
The market is so saturated now with DNA devices they should at least give us an accessory or something for having to endure delays. Customer retention should always be a first thought.
It is not saturated with this Evolv board. A sharkskin freebee would be nice for the people that were quoted the 28th (or 30th in some cases) as the release date. A week isn't terrible, but if they delay it again I may look at other options.
oh.. now that they are going to magnetic door... i am far more interested in purchasing one.
Yeah and one of those "panoramic moon roofs" in case your battery vents. I heard the landing gear is optional though.
I cancelled my RDNA40 order. They're changing the battery door from a screw to a magnet setup, which is nice, but these revisions should have been done a long time ago, not when paying customers have already paid. They shouldn't be available for pre-order until final revisions are done. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of magnetic doors, and I'll probably pick up an RDNA40 down the road, but I'm really waiting for a DNA40 tube mod. The XPV comes close, but still not there. I'm sure Mark Bugs will do a Wizard evolved with a DNA40 chip, but those are prohibitively expensive lol. We'll see what comes out down the road. Being that Evolv and Innokin are partnered, I'll be interested to see the DNA25 TC chips potentially in some tube mods. Until then, My budget was just spend on a P3 today lol
