Is my eGo battery dead????

Well, i've been vaping for almost 3 months now, bought an ego kit, came with two ego batteries. Last night, the button got stuck on one of them, was easy enough to "unstick" it - but this morning, even tho it's lighting up, and shows fully charged on the charger, it's not working on anything . . . cartos, attys, . . . notta. This thing is only approx 3 months old, i can't believe it would be dead already! Don't currently have any back ups, so i'm up a creek, so to speak.
Any advice from the veterans?

It seems that electronics gave away.
I had same problem with 900mAh Ego-T battery, sometimes it would seem to go charging, and when fully charged didn't work.
I finally gave up on it and trashed it. It was just over 3 months old (checked up for warranty replacement, but it was 3 months).

well thanks for the reply, i hate to trash it, only 30 day warranty on it, and i'm not on easy street with the money . . . just got the idea somehow that it would last longer than 3 months, for as much as i paid for it . .

You could try to disassemble it and check to make sure all the connections are right and what not. I'm sure theres a video on the net somewhere, where somebody has tried this. If not I'm sorry to hear It died so soon.

Make sure you cleaned the connections on your battery and on the atomizer. Try pulsing the battery on and off until it's dead then try charging it again. There have been a few times that I thought there was something wrong with the battery and it was a matter of cleaning. Make sure you get down into the groove of the battery with a Qtip.

Your failure is unfortunate but not an uncommon problem. I had a couple of premature failures also.

this happened to me so what did is emerged it in rubbing alcohol overnight and then let it dry for a couple of days and it started working again. its not a garantee but I think its worth a try.........

It might be the center post. Take a straightened paper clip and gently lift up on the post... also do the same on your atty/carto. Sometimes we tighten our atty or charger on twist too snug and the posts get pushed out of wonk. Good luck, I hope it comes back to life soon.
