Okay, I think I have this upgrading thing down pat, but I want to verify before I screw things up.....

Titanium, Ego, Riva, T-Rex, etc are basically the same and interchangeable because the all are a 650mah and compatible with 510 accessories.

With above batteries I can use 510 LR attys or just regular 510 attys. I can use drip tips. I can use any 510 cartridges. I can also use any 510 cartomizers. A cone can be used or not used.

Am I right so far?

Also, there is no pass through that equals these batteries, correct? Are all the pass throughs the same "strength"?

Is there anything else I should know about these? I currently use a standard 510 so I understand all the basics - I just am unsure about the stronger stuff. I don't want to mix/match products and ruin something.

Correct, except the T-Rex is a cheap knock off. Some have had issues with them falling appart. Best to go w/ the eGo/Riva

As for PTs, some are 3.7 volt, and some are 5 volt. Madvapes has some 5 volt PTs as do the other suppliers. Also, there is an eGo USB batt. Basically an eGo batt that has a USB connection, allowing it to be used as a PT.

If the supplier just says "510 pass through" should I assume it is the lower 3.7 volt? (The last couple of sites I looked at did not give any info on volts).

the 650 mAh batts are 3.7 volts, but they drop to 3.1 under load. The 3.7 volt PT is actually slightly higher than 3.1 volt, so no. And, no some 510 PTs are 3.7 and some are 5 volt. The PTs with a battery in them are 3.7 volt. Most of the PTs w/out a batt are 5 volt. Best bet is to contact the vendor and ask to make sure.

The mahs have to do with how long the battery will last per charge. It's the volts that will tell you how strong.

If you are a regular 510 user, you should go somewhere and purchase one anyway. The difference is unbelievable. And you can use all the parts you mentoned too!

I thought only the first T-Rex was like that. But they fix the problem later on.

Have not heard of the Titanium , the other 3 are correct and some would add the hello016 (1300 mah) to that list. the Ego just started a 900 and 1000 mah battery so guess riva and t-rex will follow suit shortly with larger batteries.

they did fix the trex. i have been vaping on one for month with 0 issues
