I have the istick 30w with a subtank nano on the top.
Now it does take 2-3 days of vaping at my level for the first 2 bars of the battery indicator to drop. After that strange things happen. Every now and again after taking a puff the battery indicator will show empty and flash. I have found if i take another puff it will return to 3 bars.
Having noticed this I decided to flatten it to cut off point. On recharging I noticed those first 3 bars seemed to fill up in less than mins. The whole battery charged in approx 1.5hrs.
The store (uk ecig store) has offered to take it in for testing at my own cost should it not be faulty so I want to be sure as with things like this I sometimes doubt testing picks up the fault (I had to return a motherboard 4 times before the pc store found the fault).
Anyone got any ideas or seen this before on an istick?.
Is it just that the battery indicators are useless on these things?.
Cheers Guys.

Weird.

I don't know how you are getting 2-3-days with a sub tank nano... presumably you are using the 1.2ohm OCC atomizer heads, and not vaping very much. (not much at all)

I would expect my iSticks to be completely dead after less than 1.5- 2 days. I know it sounds un-scientific, but have you considered that the "Bar" readings are nothing more than a guide and actually you are depleting the battery to such low levels it can't function properly.

It's a 2,200mAh battery and WILL charge from 10% to 100% in a little over 2 hours on a 1amp wall adapter. That bit sounds right.

I suspect your battery meter is unreliable. Whether you want to throw yourself at the mercy of this Vendor is up to you. Personally, I'd be inclined to keep it charged up *properly*, which means not letting it get down to low levels, ignore the bars and charge it 'till full every day, even if only for 40 minutes or something.

To be honest, if the meter is dodgy, that's not your fault and it should be replaced (these things have to work to some degree).. but you've also perhaps not done yourself many favours by driving this battery for 2-3 days.

In the 'old' days, some Mods would start messing around at even 50% power, switching themselves off and generally messing around not firing atomizers and stuff. I would exhaust some of these ideas before incurring costs on yourself.

Good luck with UKecigstore. This company has a terrible reputation for dealing with anything. In fact, most of us are boycotting them completely to protest at the disgraceful way they have let people down over the years.

Wow nice answer. Yes I did think that the battery indicator is just at fault. Based on the info on the store I will do what you said and just keep it. I have ordered another one from another store (pure mist) for the mrs. Shes having my old nano to go on top as my mini arrived today from vaperstore who does seem to have good customer service. Will compare the 2 once I have them both.
I have used both the 1.2 and .5 ohm coils on mine.
Thanks for the opinion.

Just an update. I am now 99% sure the indicator is faulty and shows 60% when it means 10.
The uk ecig store are so far being ok with it. I have been emailing one of the testers there and they seem to be understanding the fault. I will probably send it for a replacement and keep you updated.
The other one I oredered from pure mist arrived in very short time. I did notice 2 differences on the packaging tho. The first one had us version ticked and tip exed out. The second one has a sticker on it with a scratch off panel to identify it as genuine. No way other than that to tell them apart tho, maybe the anti clone sticker was added for the eu release?.

Neither of mine have a scratch-off code. 1 from UK and 1 from China. Both had "tick off" boxes, with UK and the colour ticked. 99% sure both are original.
