OK... disclaimer 1st.... This is not medical advice, see your doctor... we can't diagnose you personally, or tell if something else is going on.....

Since I been vaping I've only used PG and my throat hurts and I keep coughing and i have a killer headache could this be because I can't take smoking PG? I think it's a cold.. but worth asking.. :D yeah i know call my doctor ... that's to easy :p

PG is rough on the throat. Try some VG if you don't think you are sensitive to it. Many people find a 50/50 mix to be OK.
Headache is often too much nicotine. Try either vaping less, or cutting the juice.

The atomizer can sometimes not be working at 100% and this can make it harsh too.

And you're right... it could be a cold.

P.S. Some water helps.

I'm almost at 2 weeks and I had all the same problems. In fact, today is the first day I've actually felt better.
I think mine was a combination of a cold and the quitting analogs at the same time. Which made it pretty frustrating to have both at the same time and have to wonder which one is the problem. I'm still coughing a bit but I'm just glad my throat doesn't hurt as much. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

You will find the first couple of weeks to be rough as your body is adjusting to not smoking analogs. If after that you're still having symptoms try adjusting your nic & pg/vg percentages, if that doesn't help try a different flavor as sometimes people are sensitive to the flavoring. And as always drink lots and lots of water - not caffeinated beverages as that will also dehydrate you

Lest we not forget, it IS cold and flu season. It wouldn't hurt you to go to the Dr and see if that's whats going on. If you put off going to the Dr because you think it might be vape related, and you really are sick, then the time you waited could just make you sicker. PG dehydrates you by bonding with the moisture in your mouth, throat and lungs, that is part of the vapor you see when you exhale- your own body water! So, yes, drink extra water. Some people are allergic to PG and that may cause some of these symptoms as well. My bottom line advice though is to rule out a real illness by going to the DR.

Actually, most of us go through this the first couple weeks. It is mainly the effects of quitting analogs...headaches, cold sx, sore throat (I thought I had strep) etc. On top of normal quitting stuff, the PG also dries you out...drink a lot of water! I lived on crystal light, chloraseptic and cough drops much of the first 2 wks. Also, gargling mouthwash helps a bit. I almost gave up but then it started getting better. So, the idea it is an allergy to PG is very unlikely, not impossible though.

Relax and pace yourself...Your body wasn't just addicted to the nicotine...analogs have over 4000 other chemicals that your body is learning to live without-it's a process
