Is my MA306 Supposed to look like this?

I recenetly purchased 2 MA306s from EmpireMods.
I heard about these and heard alot of good things about them...
I used it for a couple of days and then took a look at it and this is what i found... is this normal?
I opened the other one to check to see if it was the same and it looked different. It also sucks because that one was DOA and Empire ran out so they can't replace it... just my luck

It looks like it's burnt like a filament in a lightbulb when they pop. I don't know too much about that model, but that's what it appears to be.
