Is my Pilot malfunctioning or is it just the break in?

OK, so I got my Pilot today and I was super psyched, and my first impression was "It's tiny!"

I thought it was gonna be bigger than my NPRO but it's actually smaller, so lol.

The question is: after I charged the battery and everything, I dripped some liquid on the atomiser and started to vape, and I noticed a gurgling sound, and when I took the cart off I saw boiling and the atomiser was red and bubbling.

I didn't even take that long of a draw, is this normal or am I doing something wrong

Gurgle sound is ok. If you listen carefully you'll also hear a "steam sound" inside the cart. It's a good thing! Cooking liquid purfectly!

I top my cart. to the brim also when refilling (and it gurgles when very full). Just remember to suck lighter for the first few puffs, or you'll get a mouth of liquid and possibly "flood" your atomizer.
I usually only have problems if my battery is low, or dead.
When your draw becomes harder than norm, usually a sign that liquid has flooded the atomizers small air hole. I simply blow compressed air out through the hole towards the tip, and it's good as new!

I love my Pilot M-401!

I've noticed that the Pilot will sometimes self-vape itself, particularly if your cart is very full... after you vape, it keeps gurgling, which keeps the battery on, which keeps it gurgling, which keeps the battery on... this particularly seems to happen to me in the car with the windows down.

I have had no problems.....BUT. These will self-activate with loud noise (like music). I have a subwoofer in my car, when I crank the volume my system it actually activates my Pilot! I had read about this on previousl formums and purposely tested to varify. Sure enough it is true.
I suspect the rushing wind from an open window will also "pressurize" the atomizer, subsequenly causing it to activate.
If it where inside your car's glove box, probably wouldn't active.

A full cart. does not make the atomizer activate itself!
