Is RY4 supposed to taste burnt??

I ordered some RY4 from a premium supplier.
Got me a new atty for my eGo-T and filled up a new tank with it.
I was getting a rather burnt taste from this juice, kind of like when you dry run the atty??

Since this was a new atty I put on a known good used one.... and tried it again.... same burnt flavor.

Since this is my first go at this flavor (based on all the rave reviews) I would like to know from other users if RY4 is supposed to have a burnt flavor

There are so many variances in RY4's it would depend on who you got it from. I haved tried many and never had any taste burnt. It would help if you named who you purchased from.

I tried RY4 once and its taste was somewhat a mystery to me and yes it had a burnt flavor. Since then I ordered some Red and White from MyVaporStore only draw back is 10ml bottles max. Works well stand alone or boosted with VG/PG at your desired strength. I also add menthol and mint from time to time.

Since you're using a tank, remove it and then put it back on. It sounds like poor wicking to me. I have yet to have a RY4 taste burnt...it's a really good flavor as long as the person who made it knows what they're doing.

I got it from Vaperite. I got the VR4 as well as the RY4, and I have the same problem with both.
I am in no way blaming Vaperite, I am trying to figure out if it is something I am doing wrong?

Yes, that puts my RY4 within his top 10. (one of the reasons i got this one)

I'm sure there is nothing wrong with the flavor.
I wonder if it is just the way my eGo-T delivers it or how my tastebuds represent it to me, but I keep trying it, and each time I get a really bad burnt taste?

UPDATE:

I also had a tankless atty for my eGo-T, the kind with the foam in it.
I had not tried these yet.

I filled one of these with the same RY4. Boy what a difference. No more burnt taste.

Question now, is: What am I doing wrong with the tank atty's? Why are they tasting burnt?

Is there a better way for me to vape using my eGo to insure no burnt tastes?

Maybe put a LR510 2.0 ohm atty on it and drip. Lots of supplies are easier but nothing can deliver the pure, true taste of a juice like dripping on an atty IMO. YMMV. Hope you find a happy spot quickly.

I have purchased RY4 from 2 different suppliers, man what a difference in flavor..So it does in fact depend on the person mixing it. However neither one had a burnt flavor...

Hmm, I got some RY4 from Vapor Kings and it's really good. Rich, spicy tobacco flavor not too sweet; very nice.

My favorite Ry4 from Volcano isnt even on the list lol. Thats quite the list though.
