he smokes off brand light 100s. just really hard for me to listen to him cough all the time. he's close to 70 and been smoking scince teen so i don't how much effort i should put into this. it would be cool to see him get rid of the vise that he's had for so long. he sees me doing good with it so he's coming around more. he has'nt givin it an honest shot yet. i think its more the little habits of dangling from his lip while he works and talking to freinds that smoke and stuff. but if he'll gradually keep with it maybe he will cut back. fingers crossed

I'll second what everyone else has said +1 and add that certain flavors can be more irritating than others. Cinnamon is one of those for me, irritates my throat horribly. Drink Lots of water and congrats on the quit.

Have to say I totally agree with this. ^^ I have certain flavors/vendors that I find a lot more irritating than others. It takes a while to fine tune the best product/ingredients for you. But after a while it kinda becomes second nature.

I get a scratchy throat when I vape higher PG liquids. I switched to all VG or mostly VG liquids and don't have the problem anymore.

Some people have said they have issues with the VG liquids clogging up attys & cartos. In my experience, the VG liquids that Virgin Vapors offers don't cause any of those issues.

Welcome to vaping and ECF. I too am from Arkansas. Like everyone has said change the mix of pg/vg and drink plenty of fluids. Backwoods juices are awesome. Have your Dad try the honey flue cured or Virginia from BWB, it might be the thing that helps him. I know it did me and I was a m-light smoker for 30 years. I ditched the tanks for CCV resurrectors after 2 weeks, I just got tired of fiddling with them constantly. I use my ego batts daily. Good luck and if you need anything pm me. :)

My mom is in her 70's and started vaping and loves it! She has COPD and it's done wonders for her vaping. I thought she'd have a hard time but the transition wasn't bad for her.

Once he finds a juice he likes, he might slowly transition to vaping.
