I quit smoking a little over a month ago when I picked up my first cigalike from Halo (g6) and a sample of their Tribeca. It was pretty good, but did some research and found out whoah, there's a whole lot of vendors out there! The options are pretty mind-boggling and intimidating, and living in the Washington, DC area, there's really nowhere nearby to actually physically check anything out/ try flavors. I am keen on finding a solid all-day vape or 2, so I started ordering samples from various recommended vendors (most of them I found from these forums). I thought I would share my personal experience with a few companies in case anyone is interested. I can't say I have the most sophisticated flavor profile, but I can say I don't like overly sweet or fake tasting stuff, and have really tried to stick to Made in the USA vendors whenever possible. (Disclaimer: I am a newb and this is just my opinion on my personal dealings with these products.)

Halo:
Fast shipping. G6 was a good starter e-cig for me as it felt sort of like smoking a cigarette. Batteries only last a couple of hours which is standard for that type from what I understand.
Tribeca e-liquid: ok,sweet, good vapor and decent throat hit. Kept me off analogs in any case
Turkish Tobacco: Tasted kind of strange at first but grew on me after a while. Better throat hit and vapor than Tribeca

MyVaporStore:
Decent shipping, good price on a vision spinner and Kanger T3. Love the vision spinner, T3 is ok but I think I'll be trying the mini T3, evod or mini vivi nova sometime soon, the hit off the T3 is a little airy and cool for a recent quitter of analogs imho. I find myself going back to cartos on my spinner when I'm wanting an analog.

Johnson Creek:
Kind of expensive, don't like that the smallest size e-liquid only comes in 18mg strength nic but their shipping was super stupid fast.
Tennessee Cured: too harsh for me, but I was a lights smoker and it could have been the nic. Just got a bad medicine taste. Letting it steep a while but probably won't go back to it.
Red Oak Tennessee Cured: More mellow and tobacco like, good TH and vapor
Autumn Crisp: Pretty good, kind of sour and sweet caramel apple taste, not as much vapor as I like, decent TH
Vanda: creamy vanilla custard like flavor, but I had to let it sit with the cap open for a couple of days. Great thick vapor and TH is decent

HighBrow Vapor
:
Pretty good shipping and great customer service.
Bourbon Vanilla Bean: Straight vanilla bean flavor, no cream, just vanilla bean. Ok vapor, not much TH
RY4: it was too nutty for me from the getgo, letting it steep a while, couldn't taste any vanilla or caramel or tobacco.

Vapedudes:
Not the fastest shipping but they are very clear about their shipping times so I was ok with that.
Key Lime Pie: Awesome, tasted just like key lime pie including the crust with no steep time. Great vapor, not a lot of TH
Blue Honey: Good blueberry flavor, the honey was a little strong. I'm letting this one steep for a while.

EC Blends:

Never got my order from them :( The post office apparently lost it.

Copper Creek:

Decently fast shipping, friendly customer service
House Blend: Love it. Am ordering more. Trying to let it steep but about a week was all I could do. It's turning into my goto nightly vape. It's sweet and I can't even begin to explain the flavors but it's great. I'll probably order more VG next time as that's what I seem to be leaning towards (I like thick vapor).

AlienVisions:
Pretty ok shipping but from what I understand their popular stuff is hard to get sometimes so I was hesitant to try. I just happened to get to their site when they were open and resupplied.
Boba's Bounty: It's good but I wasn't wowed by it, so I'm letting it steep and giving it another shot. The TH and vapor are great though.

Backwoods Brew:
Fast shipping, great customer service.
Malty: Great light vape, it almost is bubbly, if that makes any sense. Not much Th but thick vapor
Malty toffee: Another light flavor like malty but different, am letting this one steep for another week, again not much TH but great vapor.

Virgin Vapor:
Fast shipping. Their samples sizes only come in 12 mg strength nic but I can live with that.
Kona Coffee Milkshake: I really like this one in the morning, it's like a coffee kick with a good TH and creamy exhale. It's my commute vape for now.
Kona Coffee Velvet Milkshake: It's ok, but the rum taste is a little off-putting for me. (I am not much of a drinker)

Hurricane Vapor:
Fast shipping and great prices for their samples.
Belgian Simmered Tobacco: Nice chocolate/tobacco/honey flavor, decent TH (for 6 mg nic), good vapor
Papaya Milkshake: its a little tart and I don't get much milkshake flavor but pretty ok tasting, Probably won't order again though.

So yeah, that about sums it up. My stand-outs so far are Copper Creek's House Blend, Virgin Vapor's Kona Coffee Milkshake and VapeDudes Key Lime Pie. I like Johnson Creek's Vanda but it doesn't come in 6 mg nic and I want more of a creamy vanilla bean flavor. I have an order for VapeDudes coming (Vanilla 'nilla and Apple Pie ala mode) and will be ordering from Copper Creek again (want to try Voos Broo and Twisted Tobacco and maybe their vanilla).

In trying all these different flavors and vendors I have discovered that I like thick vapor, TH is nice in the morning but doesn't matter to me in the evening as much, and if I ever decide to order from EC Blends again (probably not) I will purchase insurance. If anyone has suggestions for great flavors/vendors please reply! I'm also wanting to try the Vapor Room since they are about as local as it gets for me (3 hours away!)
