Is Steeping Essential?

Today I bought 6 10ml bottles of juice from my local shop, ordered 6 30ml bottles online and already had a few bottles at the house before that.

I'm relatively new to vaping and just now jumping in 100%.

I guess I'm stocked up on juice for awhile now. But is steeping really necessary to get the full effect? And if so, how long? A few days? A week? Longer?

Advice is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Turn around...
It depends but in my experience it is not usually necessary. I make my own juice and start vaping it right away. I did buy one juice before that tasted horrible until I let it steep. It really depends on the juice. If you try it and its good, its good. If its horrible try steeping it. Good video here The Vape Book about steeping. Good luck and keep on vaping.

Bulk eliquid generally has already had multiple weeks before you receive it, no additional steeping needed.

Made to order eliquid from smaller US specialty places like bwb or kbv may benefit from anywhere from a couple weeks to s month of steeping, depending on the particular mix. Ask in specific vendor forum areas for recommendations.

This is similar to a question I asked a few days ago. I'm trying the steeping method with three different e-juices now as I really didn't like the flavors. I also made the noob mistake of ordering larger bottles from a vendor before trying a sampler pack. Lesson learned! Lucky you that you have a store nearby that you can try out. The closest one to me is about 40 minutes away but it's close to work so I'll try it next week when I go back to work. I'm trying the method of leaving them uncapped in a cool, dark place and shaking every day.

When I do get a new bottle, I leave the cap open for 3 days and shake the bottle once a day. After that, I vape it. If the taste is there, I'll continue to vape it; if not, I'll leave with a closed cap and let it steep for a week. Generally, I've noticed that juices taste real good about 3 weeks after the 'born on' date. There are exceptions where some juice is great as soon as you receive your vape mail.

Steeping is a personal preference, if it taste good right now vape it, not all juices benefit from steeping

I agree, some don't require steeping and others do. Just remember, steeping is a 2 way street. My buddy had a bottle of blueberry from mad vapes that sat in his drawer for 6 weeks and it was 50 times more potent.

I wondered the same thing when I bought a 'sampler' assortment. Found 1 great flavor, and ordered larger bottles. Kept tasting the others over time. A few flavors changed, most didn't. That seemed to be the only changes I noticed. With freshly made liquids, some are done steeping overnight, others taking a week or two (usually the tobacco flavors). So I'd think that even fresh made-to-order liquids would be half-steeped (and quite mixed) by the time they go through shipping.

You have enough liquids that you could try them all, over a week or two time period?
