Hi everyone!

I'm Adrien, I'm from Europe and I'm quite new to the vaping world.

I'm glad I've found this community, and I've already went through a fair share of new and interesting info on here.

I've been vaping for about 3 months, (I've been tobacco free since then) and I'm using a kanger aerotank mega, for now.

I've only been able to try a few local brands of ejuice, but recently I saw an online ad for Mom and Pop diy flavors, so I bought a small bottle of Pchela's famous five layer, along with a big bottle of 100% VG.

I've mixed 10ml at a 10% ratio and can't wait to try it after the steeping time.
Does anyone have any experience with this certain flavor, or any similar ones? I'm thinking about a 2 day steeping period, but I'm open to advice since it's my first diy ejuice.

Thanks!

Hi Adrian and welcome to the forum. There is a DIY section dedicated to making your own juices, DIY E-Liquid I don't have the experience to truly answer your questions, as some juices take longer than others to steep. From what I have read, fruits are about a week, cremes about 2 weeks and tobacco's about a month. There are exceptions to every rule.

There is also a keyword activated search box in the top right corner of every page, I use it often. Try "steep" or "steeping" in it and you can read all about it.

Replies count towards your 5 posts to open other areas of the forum. AFTER you get 5 posts in you have to wait for the forum to reset at half past the hour to post in the other sections.

Good luck.

Welcome to ECF Adrien!

Steeping is subjective, just like taste. I immediately use all the juice I order where some people won't try them for a couple of weeks.

Try it now so you'll have a reference "taste" to compare to later samples. Be sure to shake it before using. Steeping can take weeks, depending on what you've mixed and how it's mixed. There is no set time nor a hard and fast rule that I know of.

Welcome to ecf Adrien, as said it's very hard to comment on steeping as taste is so subjective and what works for some doesn't for others, as a general rule I steep all mine at least a week I have found 9 days is perfect for me with fruit flavours and 3 weeks with custard, cream type flavours. Have a small tank like an evod so you can take a small amount of the liquid to test at intervals and find what's best for you I also give them a good shake every few days.
