Ok I'm still a newbie I have a Halo triton, then recently got an Aspire nautilus Mini on it. I've done a lot of research and been wanting to get the right box mod for a decent price and don't want to jump into the mech mods yet. Was looking at sigelei 100w plus then heard about the 75w with temp control, prob won't use all the power b/c I haven't got into RBAS yet but might later. Was looking at getting the Freemax Starre but if not using rba's would it be worth waiting for a temp control device.

My take?

If you don't have sufficient backup gear already, something now and something more later.

Temp control is still new, and there are likely going to be advances there. Quickly. (Rumor control central has it that Innokin is prepping a TC mod that will work with kanthal, for example...)

We've been vaping and not smoking for some time without TC, so I don't see it as necessary. Nice? Maybe. A good path for "future proofing"? Sure. Good to have hardware you can "grow" into.

I have a Sigelei 100 plus and it is the best box I have ever owned. Duel batteries last me 2 days chain vaping. I have owned or presently own lots of different boxes. I have not went to temp control because a few people I know are having trouble with theirs. I will wait for advancements and when people have been using them trouble free for 6 to 8 months then I will revisit the possibility. Thanks for asking. CHEERS!
