So I'll be staying at my parents house for the next year or so. I don't really want to be exposing them to anything unsafe. I've heard that when we vapers exhale, that there is no nicotine left in the vapor. Is this true?
Here are some studies...

IVAQS Project

And if you're really highly motivated you can read this one...

If so How is this so?
Nobody is completely sure, but this is a good thread regarding that topic...

Any links to any studies done on the exhaled vapor?

Hey there New2Smoking,

glycerol posted the links below:

Official study by Europe's top institute - the Fraunhofer Institute (Germany), official page: Putting electronic cigarettes to the test - Research News December 2012 - Topic 5

The official *.PDF document of the study performed: http://www.fraunhofer.de/content/da...Putting electronic cigarettes to the test.zip

A summary of the results was published in the Indoor Air journal: Does e-cigarette consumption cause passive vaping? - Schripp - 2012 - Indoor Air - Wiley Online Library

Research News December 2012 Complete Issue: http://www.fraunhofer.de/content/dam/zv/en/press-media/2012/PDFs/rn12_2012_DEZEMBER.pdf

Not sure if there is any "hard and fast data" to answer your concerns.

Does those "scented oil" things have a harmful effect?

Something to think about too...when someone "passes gas" and you smell it...yup...you guessed it...vaporized poo (sorry but there really isn't any "nice" way to put it), or bad breath, or fog machines, burps (anything you smell is just vaporized "that stuff")

Now compare a "combustion" product
Burning gas, leaves, grass, forest fires, homes, tobacco??

Can you see the stark comparison yet?

Also...look at this video, tell me after 20 years of smoking a pack a day how harmful it "is" vs removing ALL that by vaping
Pay close attention to the color of the water!

I now understand the aversion to "2nd hand SMOKE" what those people need is EDUCATION that vaping IS NOT SMOKE, and the elimination of those chemicals IN smoke is safer...MUCH MUCH safer!

P.S. there is another lethal chemical in cigarette smoking you DON'T see...and there is an industry built around that chemical in order to ALERT people to it's presence...what chemical is that? and in what ratio of nicotine vs the "bad chemicals" are you really getting?
