Is the Ali'i as good as they say?

The whole reason I stopped vaping in the first place was the hassle of it all; bought a riva set in hope that the tank system would take off, but it looks like that has come to halt. I am seriously considering an Ali'i: no leaks, no extra bottles, maybe an extra atty if i pop mine, but that I can handle. I'd probably get the VV if I decided to make the purchase.

All reviews I have read/seen have said that it has become the reviewer's new primary vape. I think it looks beautiful, I love the hassle free, 0-learning curve, mess free lifestyle that the Ali'i offers, plus it will probably be my last device purchase for a while.

Is there anything wrong with the Ali'i? Positive and negative reviews would be appreciated. I guess I am hoping that it will be the end of my so far endless search for the perfect PV.

Ali'i, Phidias, and Reo are all awesome. These bottom feed mods are pretty much effortless. I have a Phidias now and I can't put it down. Will probably try for a reo when he releases some woodies again. Can't go wrong with either system.

As SavePaper Said, They are all great. The Ali is very well made. Don't hesitate about it.. You wont be sorry.

Check out the Reo Grands also... Both are good!

I have a Phidias and a Reo Grand and both are very attractive, both work very well. I don't have an Ali'i yet but that is next on my shopping list. Can't say about the Ali'i specifically but IMO the bottom feed mods are the best "hassle free" option out there. I use a 2600mah batt in my grand and the grand service bottle holds 6ml. For me thats a good 2 days of hassle free vaping. I don't think there is anything else out there that can give you two days of vaping without changing some parts.

The reviews are great, I myself only own one bottomfed mod which is the Phidias which is awesome. I use it when I'm on the go and can't drip.... usually on long trips or errands. It was a very good investment and I wouldn't hesitate to buy either a Ali'i or a Reo. I'm actually going to get a Reo Grand sometime mid month if I can catch one on Redeyedancer's sell thread??!?!?!?!?

My advice to you go for it, if you don't like it you can always sell it on the classifieds..... it will sell instantly.

i've seen a couple people question how well VV mods in general hold up over the long haul. I guess the regulators wear out over time. But I don't think i've ever seen a bad review about the Ali'i.

The big turnoff I have about the whole bottom feeder thing is the frenzy that people are in with these "sales". There are only certain times of the week you can buy them and those sales last about 5 min., or there is a waiting period of 4 or 5 weeks.

Some people buy 2 or 3 of the same pv, thereby driving up the wait or limiting the availability. A real pisser if you don't have the time to hang on at your computer waiting around pressing f5 to maybe catch a sale.

Kinda reminds me of the saps who wait in line for hours to get Apple products. I'm sure the top 3 bottom feeders have their good points, but it's not worth it to me to jump through the hoops to get one.



I will wait until the impulse fad buyers run outta money or someone makes the next "gotta have it" pv, then pick up an older type without the ridiculous brouhaha.

Actually the Phidias is fairly easy to get, for now at least. I got one with no trouble at all. I agree though, damned if I'm going to hit f5 all day. The last Ali'i release sold out in 30 seconds I think. lol

Yeah I was expected the Ali'i availability to open up again this friday, but I missed the post saying that it was going to open up tomorrow evening. I was in a movie and came home looking for updates, and saw that it had already sold out again. Now I have to wait another 2.5 weeks to order, then another 4-6 for it to arrive. Really upset about this. I think I'm going to buy second hand if available...

i got mine second hand then i screwed it up and had to send it back and wait so it ended up taking just as long , really worth the wait though
