The wait isn't that bad right now.

Yeah I have been reading and the website also states that the lead time is down to 2 weeks now. Hopefully that holds true with my order. I think my eyes are bleeding from reading so much on it. Especially that 2000+ post thread in the provape section. Its crazy I have become so obsessed with it in less than 24 hours!

Congrats on the purchase JT

I think you'll find the 18490's will give you plenty of battery life. I throw a fresh one in at 4:00 am when I leave for work, and don't have to replace it until around 9 - 10:00 pm that evening, if I'm still up. Otherwise I just replace it the morning on my way out the door.

I'm sure you're going to like it. I know for me it's all I've been using for the past two months.

there is a difference between the new gen "smart" PV's ... and everything else... power managment to the atty... not just VV but managed so that every vape is the same through the charged life of the batt.

plus all the extra spec readout...

there is also the Darwin out now as well with full readout of data on LED and adds Watts and Amp...

On the Provari, i'd forget the 18500's as the 18650 gives you more vape time... if you vape a lot, it makes a difference
Ok so looks like I might be ordering my provari tonight!! Just got the OK from the wife to put it on the CC and pay it off with the tax return (Re-reading that makes me sound pathetic lol, but whatever keeps the peace). One more detail is the battery extension. 18490 vs 18650. Obviously the bigger battery will last longer. The trade off being I have to pay more for the end cap and also adding size and weight to the device. I recall reading one reviewer who preferred the shorter battery as the extension made it just a little too heavy and on the side of uncomfortable. Like I said before I am clueless about these batteries. How long should I expect an 18490 to last vs an 18650? My only experience so far is a 650mah ego battery with LR atties so if the 18490 lasts as long as my eGo then I have no worries going with the shorter batt.

I'll check out the modders section for sure, thanks!

also just found my answers: http://www.provape.com/v/faq.htm

They estimate 3ohms at 6volts to be over 8 hours, that still blows my ego out of the water using LR so i have no problem sticking with the shorter batt.
