I think I may have found some clones that I like. Can you all give some opinions/feedback on this Rebuildable and mod please

Rebuildable: $21.54 SvoeMesto Kayfun v3.1 ES Styled Rebuildable Atomizer (4.5mL) - stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Mod: $21.40 Chi You Style Mechanical Mod - stainless steel / with telescopic pin at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Thanks in advance for your replies :)

Those are fine but don't get a kayfun if you're just looking for clouds.

Kayfuns are great, don't get me wrong, but if you try to build it too low its uncomfortably hot. Like burn your mouth hot. You'd be way better off with an igo or if you need a tank an aqua but the aqua is not a good first rebuildable at all.

This might be a good time to ask... what's the big deal about blowing these massive clouds? Not judging, just curious. I too like see a bit of simulated smoke coming from my upper orifices but that's just a psychological effect on my brain so it thinks I'm still smoking analogs. I do this for the nicotine and for the physical habit I left behind. Personally, I like to keep the smoke signals to a minimum especially if I'm cheating at the office.

Then again, I never understood smoking cigars either so it's probably just me.

Im in agreement with micro coil and cotton in a protank - 1.8 micro with a properly seated cotton wick - a vv device and a heavy vg mix can produce some pretty impressive clouds for such a "standard set up". I myself am a big fan of low ohm builds and massive air-holes. But I do find myself loving the vape off of protanks and other bcc's. I like the no leak convenience of a drip atty though. Whatever works for you!!!

I am not planning on rebuilding my protank. I am wanting to go mechanical and get a rebuildable atomizer. Also I am subbed to RIP Tripper and I love his videos. That's one of the reasons I want to get into Rebuildables, Because experimenting and finding new coil patterns and coil builds that you like, sounds really fun to me!

You may want to try rebuilding your Protank once you get a mech mod. With a .8 - 1.1 ohm coil, it delivers a much better vape IMO. I decided to do that when I was having trouble paying attention to the road while dripping.... I too recommend Kidney Puncher for supplies and mods. If you like them on Facespace you'll see a 10% off coupon code.

I am a self proclaimed "cloud chaser" I find it as more of a hobby than an all day vape thing. You wont find me driving around in my car with a .3 ohm build and (2) 3/32 air-holes drilled in my cap. But when I'm bored and kicking it around the crib I'm down for some 2mg juice and making my house look like the set of a spooky Halloween flick. I also like the trying out different builds , types of wire/ribbon - and just general tinkering with everything I have. You also do get different flavor profiles from all of the variances of builds and such....

You nailed it. I am not looking to build something that produces clouds to be using while out to eat or anything like that. I simply want to do it for the hobby and it seems fun to me. Not to mention the local shop is kind of setup like an internet cafe. People hangout watch movies, vape, talk vaping, and just simply hang out. While I'm out in public I usually take my 1300mah twist with my protank.

Also @ Blackchad about not building using a kayfun. I have watched a lot of people running dual nano coils and single nano coil builds in them. And it seems to be just about what I am looking for.

Rda with mech or vv mod and some juice with high vg content will do you some good

Actually wanting to do RTA instead of RDA.. Dripping is something that I really could care less for atm. That's one of the reasons I was looking at Kayfun Rebuildables, because they are tanks

For a nice cheaper mech mod to start with I recommend the Smok Magneto I know A to Z Vapor World - Custom Electronic Cigarette Mod - Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit has them for $35-40 but they are currently out of stock. I'm using one with a nimbus clone drilled to 3/32 and it produces a pretty substantial cloud even with a single coil. As stated lightning vapes is a good place to get your kanthal I paid like $7 for 100' of 28g and used amazon to get Maxim organic cotton balls for like $3 for a 100 count bag. This setup cost me a grand total of about $65 plus the cost of juice.

Thank's man, I will certainly check out the magneto and nimbus clone. For kanthal, it looks like I am going to have to buy off the net. But shouldn't I be able to pick up some organic cotton somewhere local?

the cotton that i use i got at the local walgreens. just make sure its the organic and that it wasnt bleached. look for the hydrogen peroxide whitened organic cotton balls. just make shure that you boil them 3 times for about 15 mins each time to get red of any hydrogen peroxide thats left over from the manufacturing process, then drain them and get most of the water out of them and let them sit out overnight and theyll be fluffy and useable. this is what i do with mine and it works every time. i use a micro coil and cotton setup in my protank and its miles ahead of what the factory coils are in terms of flavor and vapor. just wrap up a 1.8ish coil and use that as your all day setup and have your cloud setup at home wating for ya. i definately second the magneto as just about one of the best bang for your buck mechs out there.

Look at the chamber size of Kayfun. Now compare it to RDA like IGO or Omega.
Larger deck = More coils = More surface area = larger the vapor.
I love my KFL+ and it is an awesome topper. But if I want to do any serious coil build, I use Omega or other open deck RDA.
Tank systems use small juice channels to feed the juice. You can "shower" the coil/cotton on RDA with juice.

Pick up $20 genuine IGO and start from there. Learn how these toppers work.
