put a thin magnet spacer on the bottom of your battery for protection

Oh, duh, good idea.. I still have a small stack of those little donut magnets I used for my button. It won't diminish the connection any?

those will be too small sub. Here you go 12mm Battery Spacers

I've used them often and they don't seem to hinder performance

Oh nice, thanks. I did try to put my magnet in there earlier and realized it doesn't stick to the brass post, do you just it sit there on top? I really wish I ordered those when I just placed an order for my Ithaka steel window replacement! Doh!
Guess I'll have to order a couple other things to make it worthwhile.. Darn
