Stealth Brass Rethreader Ring not compatible with Stealh SS cap?

Hi,

I was trying to use my ss Stealth top cap with my ss GGTS bottom tube to have a mixed brass accents Stealth, however the Brass rethreader ring won't fully screw in the ss Stealth cap :

I wonder if those should be compatible, the Brass cap screws very well on the ss Stealth rethreader ring, also the brass rethreader ring on the GGTS bottom tube, the Telescopic tube also screws very well on the ss Stealth cap.

The ss Stealth cap threads are ok (it is a brand new ss Stealth, nver used).

Does anyone had tried this combination (Stealth brass rethreader ring with ss Stealth cap)?

The brass ring is significantly shorter than the ss ring.

Your right Ariel, brass rethreader does not screw into steel cap, steel rethreader is ok with brass cap.

I liked the look of the brass / steel combination.

The problem is the treads on the brass rethreader, I tried both ends of the rethreader on the steel cap, no go on both.

Brass/silver, silver/brass combination would of been nice.

its ok guys. The only you have to do is to screw -unscrew sometimes the parts between them and they will fit nicely

I have been trying that, screw and unscrew and so on (for half an hour), without success. One of the sides of the brass ring does not screw in the ss Stealth cap at all, the other (the one I have been screwing / unscrewing) still without totally screwing in the ss cap, shoud I keep trying?

I think it is not necessary, I was just trying to change the look on my ss Stealth, I'll keep trying, eventually it will fit, just need some use

Keep trying Ariel, I was about to give up when it finally went that last quarter turn.

It worked, Imeo.

Took about 30/45 mins of constant turning on/off but my steel cap now fits perfect on my brass rethreader.

with the brass accents that is one awesome looking stealth, brass button would complete the look, definitely on my to buy list now.

Not a chance in hell Ariel, one side of the brass rethreader is enough.
