Is the Silver Bullet engravable?

Is the Silver Bullet engravable? Has anyone tried this? I'm thinking I'd take it to one of the engraving kiosks they have in malls to get it personalized. What do you think?

Yes you could engrave them. I use to have a laser engraver and there was a chemical that would mark on Aluminum. Personally I would not use a mall kiosks to do this. You might want to call your local award and trophy shops. Ask them if they could engrave on Aluminum. There is two forms one is etching and the other is marking. The chemical that turns into Black or other Colors is named Cermark. Good Luck

I don't have a SB yet, but I have an Adaptever and a friend who does laser engraving engraved it for me with a celtic knot and it looks great. Didn't change how it works at all. I'd say since it worked on the Adaptever it should work on the Silver Bullet.

I think if I get flames engraved on it it WILL work even better.

There is nothing wrong with engraving the Silver Bullet both methods I described in my post would work. They would not change they way the Silver Bullet operates.

I still think it will improve the performance just the same as 'go-faster' racing stripes on a car would.

Funny I should find this, I just got my SB (BTW I love it!), and talked to my buddy who owns a laser engraver. So I'll be bring it by next month for some art work. I've been thinking of a wrap for it as well, but have not decided what I want!
I'll post photos one day when she comes back from the shop!
