Is the Tornado Tank the same as an Ego T?

To a beginner they look the same. Are the parts interchangable? They appear to both be made by joyetech.

Yes they both have the same threads and should be interchangeable.....

I have a Tornado-T and a friend has the eGo-T and yes the parts are interchangeable.

eGo-T is the name given to it by the manufacturer. You will find the same thing re-branded, but it's just marketing...

With that said, the eGo batteries come in a variety of flavors, sizes, colors, etc.... so be careful when comparing. A 650 mAh eGo is NOT the same thing as a 1000 mAh eGo with USB passthrough capabilities, and the latter cost nearly twice as much...

Edit: Not LITERALLY various flavors... just a turn of speech...

Thank you, I ordered one to try it out. I ordered a Vmod yesterday. I hope I like this stuff when it all shows up.
