The 510 is a 3 piece as in battery, atomizer and cartridge. The Vapor King (KR808D-1) is a 2 piece as in battery and cartomizer (cartridge with built in atomizer).

You can, however, with the use of an adapter, make the 510 batts use the 808 cartomizers.

I use the Vapor King with blank cartomizers and fill them with juice. Easy and cost effective.

I'm about ready to order one, and it seems V4L has ecigs and cartomizers. It doesn't say 510 but it looks about the same. Manual or automatic, long, sleek look.

Cignot has ecigs and not a huge supply of juices/flavors.

I'm just not sure what to order, or from where. Help?

I'm a big fan of cignot. They seem a little heavy on the VG juices so they lose a bit of my business there- but they have some really quality stuff.

The vapor king from value 4 life is a kr808 model. 2 piece cartomizer and battery
The 510 is a 3 piece unit, attomizer, battery, and cart.
Either can be made to work with the others batterys and carts with adaptors.
What you choose is a matter of taste really.
I use both at different times.
If you plan on dripping you will want the 510 or better yet the 510 Ego,
If you plan on using cartomizers then the kr808 is convienant to start with,

V4L sells Kr808 batteries and Kr808 cartomizers. A 501 atomizer/cartridge is not compatible without an adapter.

A 501 is a 3-piece, traditionally speaking, utilizing a 510 battery, 510 atomizer (atty) and a cartridge. However, many vendors now sell 510 cartomizers (atomizer and cartridge combined) making it a "2 piece". A 510 cartomizer does not work on a Kr808 without an adapter.

V4L does not sell 510 cartomizers.

All V4L juice is useable in all cartomizers and cartridges. ;-) Both 808/510 cartos and 510 cartridges can be bought pre-filled from many, many vendors. Refilling your own is much more economical long-term.

Did I help or make it worse?

Jo, I am aghast that we in ECF have not provided you the basic information about vaping that would have made the distinction clear between the KR808D-1 (two-piece, cartomizer) model (e.g., the Vapor King from V4L) and the 510 (a three-piece model). I apologize.

Take a look at my recent comparative review to discover some of the differences and pros and cons of each. And, when you have a chance, browse through the posts in the ECF Library, such as this one (relevant to your current situation).
