Agreed. I pulled mine out after a little research on this forum and YouTube. The used attys had burnt fibers. My new attys will get a few rounds of drip vaping before I notice it sucks compared to my wick-less attys, then I remove the wick and enjoy.
There are a few threads regarding this, search em and try it yourself. I don't find a need for the wick.
I'm not a dripper but you do not need the wick. If you used carts, then yeah you need the wick.
Back when I started I used canned air to blow out attys. If you blow through the battery end the wick will eventually come out. But I know there are cheaper ways.
