Just a few thoughts and comments...

I have followed Rob and the reo mod since the modders forum and the first one for Clyde that was approx 1 year ago the following has transpired

Release of the Reo 1.0 with 8-10 color choices
3-4 months later He released the Mini Reo followed by the Reo grand
then Rob released the Woodvil reo 2.0
Now Rob is releasing the Woodvil Mini Reo

Thats 5 count em 5 Number one mods all of them with numerous color/wood options

From maple to jatoba to bacote to cherry wenge zebra walnut purpleheart oak paudak and many many many more types

You show me one other mod maker at his level??????? Plz name one???? Honestly not blowing smoke up anyones ... Show me??

And lets not forget about all the wood mods that have popped up since the Reo inception i see soooo many that are trying to do what Rob has done and quite frankly they wont...like Rob said SWING hard

Preorder???? why he makes a batch puts them up they sell repeat process

THis type of thread makes AMAJN MAD.....lol Must bite tongue.....

REO FTW

Rob has a lot of problems with suppliers such as machine shops, the folks that annodize and paint the things. Buttons, springs, such as that. Those that have been around since he started selling them and heard these things while he's worked through some of the fustrations know what he's going through. He told me once that he had to fire one machine shop, for example.

I imagine that by the time he pays for all the processing and parts he's probably not making a lot of money per unit as you might think by the selling price. Overhead sux!

Proud owner of two black/black minis

Getting a Reo is worth the wait and it is worth the time it takes to acquire one. If reo's were mass produced or made by someone else, they wouldn't be reos any more and the quality would suffer. If you are in a hurry, go get one of the imitations instead of trying to turn the reos into the imitations.
