Is there a flavor difference with the different pg/vg ratios?

for me anything above 50% pg it irritates my throat. I have never found heavy pg fluid to have better flavor either infact I have found flavors taste better to me with more vg. It could be just in my head or it could be the way I vape. I have always been a dripper for the most part weather it is a 306 or 901 atty or a rba.

Pg (propylene glycol) is considered a better flavor carrier than Vg (vegetable glycerin), and is also somewhat responsible for throat hit. Not a great vapor producer.

Vg is considered a much better vapor producer. Although not generally considered a great flavor carrier, I believe it just needs to steep longer than higher pg mixes. Usually much thicker in viscosity than pg.

I once ordered my favorite flavor in both a 50/50 pg/vg and 100% vg just to see if I could tell a difference. I noticed no difference in flavor between the two, but slightly better vapor production with the 100% vg mix.

Most of my flavors are ordered a 50/50 or 40/60 pg/vg. My :2c:
