Is there a glossary?

I am brand new at this;I just bought my first e-cigarette yesterday and started looking for more information. This seems like a great place to learn stuff, but I am lost in the alphabet soup that comes with any new enterprise. I really can't understand anything anyone is saying. Is there a glossary, or an introductory resource that will help me make more sense out of what I am reading? I really want to learn and to participate, but I need help with the learning curve.

Many thanks.

Have a look here: A - Z E-Cig Glossary | Guide To Vaping

That's one of my favourite glossaries of terms out there. Also, a lot of terms and abbreviations are defined within the ECF forums. Every now and then you'll notice a word underlined; if you hover over the underlined words in posts on the forum, you'll get a definition pop up. Note: As far as I know this feature does NOT work on tablets (at least not in Safari on iOS), in which case the above link should help you.

Also: check out the stickies in the New Members Forum (the threads "pinned" to the top) - these contain a lot of newbie friendly information.

The glossary I need isn't so much the technical terms and design of how a variable voltage item works and the guts of it, etc. What is killing me is the shorthand used in the forums. MVP, VW, TPC, TPA, OSR with a SRN attached in series. This is over exaggeration, but to a new guy just getting their toes wet for the first time, this is confusing as hell. Old-timers reading these things understand what is meant but to a guy who just put their name on the registration, it's mind baffling. When I first came to this forum, I was googling TFA to find out what that meant.
