Is there a preference setting for this...

Hello,

When I click on my user name at the top of the forum page, I get directed to the My Activity tab in my profile. However, the default tab selected under Activity is "All".

The "All" tab shows not only my threads, but also "friends" threads which forces me to then click on my user name tab to see only my threads.

Is there a way to change the default so when clicking on my user name at the top of the forum page, I get directed to My Activity and automatically to my user name tab?

It makes perfect sense. The default before the last upgrade was Visitors Page, which was a much better choice, IMHO. I never used Activity setting before and I do not care for it as my default page.

I hope the Visitors Page may be somehow restored in the future--or maybe at least there will be an option to choose one's default setting. Pretty please...

I use Activity to see what threads I've been posting to, or else I lose track. I don't want to subscribe to every thread. However, having to click a tab just to see my posts, without having to see someone else's post, is such a hassle. It doesn't even make sense... it's MY profile.

Yes... Pretty please put a setting so we can choose our own defaults.

I navigate the forum via What's New tab (leftmost tab) and then My Posts in drop down. Only threads with my posts are being displayed. If you want to see your posts, click on your name above your avatar and select View Forum Posts.

And yes, it would be nice if we could choose our own default. I love to see the pretty pictures and sweet messages that my ECF friends leave for me... It cheers me up.

By the way, thank you for directing me how to see my posts. I didn't know that. It's very helpful and what I was sort of aiming for.

Unfortunately this is the default behavior in this version of vBulletin. I've put it on our wish list for our coders to make a hack, but it is low on the list of things that "need" fixing.
