Is there a recommended steep time for new juice?

Typically a week to two weeks will do it. May depend on juice/vendor. Some say certain juices are even better after a couple of months of steeping. Some people take the tops off the juice to let them "air out" for a couple days or longer. Others will shake their juice everyday. I've done both, more often then not I just let time do its magic.

It depends on the supplier. I mean, if it's imported from china, it's been steeped in a warehouse then on the way to the supplier in another country, then sat in their stock for a while. Steeping that is like waiting for wine to turn into vinegar.

Some suppliers make theirs and it can take time to settle. Normally you'll get a flowery/perfumy smell if it really needs it but not always. Some flavours just need time to blend as well.

Rule of thumb: if it tastes good on day one, vape it on day one. If it doesn't taste good on day one, let it sit for anywhere from two weeks to a month and if it still doesn't taste any different it never will. Except this one cappuccino flavour I have that's a year old, it tastes like corn chips now :?:

If you let us know what juices you got and where you bought them maybe someone can tell you more about that supplier's juice. My rule of thumb is to taste'em when I get'em. If they're not what I expected, I'll put them away for a week and try them again. Still not good? Put'em away again and let'em steep some more. Some of the juices from my favorite suppliers are better when fresh, others don't come into their own until they've steeped at least 3 months. Most are in between. But without knowing what you got and from where, I won't venture a guess.

I got US made blends from Johnson's Creek: Domestic, Original and Black Cherry. Vermillion River: Vanilla, Cherrywood, and Premium. Copper Creek: Honeysuckle, Home. Vapor Pro: Very Vanilla, Cherry Balsam, MLB2.
The last one, MLB2, seems to be doing the best straight away.
