Well, shoot. I replied to your other post before I saw this one! Same applies! I didn't catch the vanilla to much, either. Get your wife to vape it a little more. I had to make myself and, like I had said, I'm totally loving it now. Maybe it will grow on her, too?

She's crazy picky about stuff like that so I know she won't even try it again. She's been a menthol smoker for years so I was shocked that she really likes one of the sweet honey tobacco flavors I have. I have a bunch of menthol juice on the way for her and it's fine with me if she sticks to that. It just means I have more of the tasty flavors all to myself :D I didn't notice any coffee flavor in the DD, and more cigar than anything else, but it could be from it not being steeped for very long.

It states all over their web site that "steeping" which is really "aging" is recommended. It's on the bottles too. They have info on their web site and also note it on some juice descriptions. So, if ya receive the juice "SHAKE THE HECK OUT OF IT" ....... TAKE OFF THE CAP ...... PUT IT IN A COOL DARK PLACE (NOT THE REFRIGERATOR) AND LEAVE IT WITH THE CAPS OFF....... EVERY DAY - GRAB IT AND SHAKE THE HECK OUT OF IT ....... I DO MINE FOR TWO WEEKS WHICH CAN BE OVERKILL BUT I LIKE THAT LENGTH OF TIME.

Some folks say put it warm water for 30 or more minutes (the water WILL cool down, so go HOT if you do this - AND BE AWARE THE LABELS WILL COME OFF OR BE HARD TO READ - so cover with transparent tape -OR- put it in spare bottles before tossing in water. I don't want that hassle - so, I just "shake, remove bottles dripper tips, place in cool dark place and shake each day. Again - other will have their own 'favorite way'. In the end you are letting it AGE and the contents to MIX together. It's NOT as much a hassle as it sounds. SOME juice is ready to go the day received --- I still "age" them. SOME FOLKS even have fancy "aging tools" they use to automate the process; shaking by hand is FREE!

Steeping

Steeping WILL change the juice!! There are countless things that can and will affect the taste of your juice. ITC juice is made to order which means you can almost guarantee the flavor to improve over time. More often than not the change will be drastic.

Why Steep Open?

"Steeping" your juice is simply letting it age which allows all the flavors to work in harmony. Steeping starts the second the juice is mixed and shaken and it continues to steep until you vape the last drop. Steeping does many things for your juice, all positive as far as taste.. Some flavors used need a chance to mellow out while... while aging.

The hot water (not hotter than 150ish) warms the liquid making it thinner and distributing the flavors throughout the liquid faster.

And will loosen the LABEL ........... so put it in another bottle before the water -OR- cover label with transparent tape.
