oo00oo that evic head is real interesting; still need to get the tubes to go with it though;
passthrough mode/onboard charging
unregulated mode

Neat.

I loved those things ever since they came out with the original version. The Easy head version is better - it's using the same higher frequency PWM that the eVic does. None of the added features on an eVic though - you could consider it "eVic lite." With the passthrough mode, for travel it's perfect. All you really need for bare bones traveling is the Easy head with tube, one battery in it, and a micro USB cable to charge it or use it. You can find a USB power source to plug it into just about any place.

Of course, it fits 18650 battery tubes as well. If the OP is looking for something really small in a PT diameter - and downright cute at that size - this does it nicely with the 18350 tube.

Pretty sure GoodProphets has an ECF coupon code. That, and they have put the Easy heads on sale before. (Ask me how I know... Bought two of them when they were $14.99)

Guys keep in mind that the OP said she has hand problems. Bottom firing mech switches don't work for everyone.

Hi Everyone!
Thank you all so much for all your suggestions and food for thought. I think I have decided I am going to save up for a mod (I'd say $150ish price point plus batteries etc). I think I would like it to have variable voltage. It worries me that non vv mods may not work well with all my juices etc, since I'm not going to go the RBA route. I was looking at the provari mini. Is there anything smaller than the provari mini available that also has variable voltage?
Although to be honest, I am still quite confused. I saw a vanilla mod the other day, and really liked the looks of it. Is anyone here familiar with the vanilla? If so, why do some say vanilla down the side and others just have a circular (smok-e mountain) logo?
Thanks again!!

Since I've been known to be longwinded I'll try and keep this short and sweet. Besides I've been sick with a nasty cold for 2 days now so...

Have you considered the Cool Fire 2 from Innokin? I have had excellent performance from Innokin Mods as I own 3 different styles. This one is styled after a WW2 grenade, so it's not the most feminine. Don't let that put you off to quick though. The main tanks I use on it are the Kanger Aerotanks and Kanger Protank 3's which are similar to what you have and they look and perform great on it. It only has variable watts not variable voltage but for me it has been pretty much a "set it and forget it" mod. To change the wattage you just twist the dial. I've had it now for approx. 3 months and it has survived quite a few 3ft plus drops on concrete and is still going strong, it's extremely durable. It fits very comfortable in my hand and is not as heavy as the VTR my husband uses. I believe the price has dropped from the already decent price I paid of $60 for mine. I really love it, and it has served me well as my all day mod with one exception, battery life. I have two 18350's that I rotate for use in it and I usually get about 2-3 hours on each chain vaping and the batts charge fast. I'm at home all day so it's not generally a problem, but I've noticed lately that I'm not getting as much out of my batteries that I did initially. I want something closer to what my husband gets in the VTR which is closer to once a day battery change if at all for him.

I'm also getting into rebuildables and experimenting so I want something with a wider range of customization then 7-12.5 watts.
In my humble opinion it sort of sounds like you need to do some more research before getting into mods. I don't want to turn you away from them because they can be a very satisfying experience and hobby, but I've found for myself that the learning curve can be quite steep in a sense given the many options out there. It's also recommended that you have a good multimeter and or an Ohms reader or a VV device that reads ohms at least. I hope that makes sense! Good luck on your journey, this is a great hobby IMHO! 2 months free from smoking here!

Might look for these 2200 mah Ego's on fleabay...about $17 shipped. Short and fat and last a long while in my experience.

Fits pretty dogone well in the hand and for the price of a mod and batts you could have a sixpack or more of these ;)

Here's a pic with a Nova-S BDC on top next to a 1300 mah vision spinner

Hi:
I just wanted to thank everyone for your excellent suggestions. What I finally ended up doing is buying a Kamry X6 battery, to hold me over until I am able to save up for a good mod. With my health problems, my budget is super tight, but I am going to try to save up for a Provari mini, or even a mech mod clone haha. I wish the X6 were shorter, but at least they are thicker, thus more comfortable for me to hold. And at least they are 1300mah, so hopefully they will last a long time.
Anyway, thanks so much!!

PS: To those of you wondering why I am trying to find a more comfortable ecig, it's because I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis last year, and I have neuropathy and a lot of pain in my hands. That's why the ego batteries are hard for me to grip comfortably :(
