I know.....I know.....cardinal sin. I drilled the airhole in my AGA T2 to large to suit me. Any suggestion how to correct this? Is there something I can use to fill it? And redrill?
I tried the JB Weld. Seems to have worked nicely. I originally drilled the hole out to 1/16 or roughly 1.5 mm. Puttied with JB Weld and now drilled to 3/64 or roughly 1.2 mm. Much better and since there is very little putty left after drilling out, you really have to look at it to even see it isnt just a airhole.

I epoxy a small circle of ss mesh from the inside of the cap and then using a needle, I punch a hole in the mesh. Carefully pushing the needle in and testing the draw, I get the exact draw that I like.
This is what I did on my did made the air hole way to big I just took a razor blade out of a bic single blade desposable razor and ground down the blade smooth rounded out on my table and placed it in the top cap now all I do is turn the blad in the top cap and I can adjust the airhole to whatever I want yes adjustable air hole on a genisis tank !
