I just started vaping and bought the Redds starter kit and I'm finding it kind of labour intensive and messy. With cigarettes I just pulled one out of the pack, lit it and smoked it. I want it to be that easy. I find that putting the juice in the carto is messy and I have to do it too often. I'm getting it all over my hands and in my mouth. Is there an easier way?

I find rebuildable clearos to be pretty simple. I've got a Kanger T3 and a Thor Clearo, the Kanger lasts me about 2 days and the Thor last me about a day, after that break 'em down and rinse and then fill. Haven't head an issue with getting juice everywhere except where it belongs.
Tanks too if you like cartomizers, just fill the tank and it soaks the carto. My old 5ML tank lasted me about 3 days before I needed to refill that.

If you're getting juice in your mouth, then you've over-filled the carto's. Do the covers that come with the carto have teets on both the inside ends, or is one of the covers more like a cup, or sleeve? If you have a cover without the tit, fill it about 2/3 full, then slowly insert the carto into it. The end of the carto that has the connection should be pointed up. If you see juice come out the end, it's full. You will need a paper towel to wipe it off. I get very little juice on my hands that way.
Vaping will never be as easy as simply pulling out a cig and lighting it up. The labour put in is still better than the cancer you're getting from tobacco, IMO.

But once you've got it set up its much more convenient. You aren't stuck outside somewhere for 5 minutes like an analog. Just hit the button, exhale and you can be done.
The simplest method is to buy pre-filled cartomizers. If you use 1 a day at $8.00 a 5-pack, that's $48.00 a month and no messy liquid or anything to deal with.
The next step is to get a larger battery and a bigger delivery system. You'd still have to fill it up, but 1 6 ml tank is equal to 5 cartomizers and should last about as long in theory.

Are you using cartomizers or cartridges? Watch some youtube lots of good info. The problem with starter kits are they are usually lower end poor quality stuff. We all started there though. Hang in there it gets easier as you go your learning some new skills like anything you gotta pay your dues. I use to hate having the mess also! Cant remember when my last mess was though.
Couldn't have said it better myself. With pre-filled carts you will never have a mess, easy as pancakes, and still will save you 65% or more over the cost of analogs.
Yeah, it's fiddly. It's always going to be more fiddly than a smoke but hey, so much less cancer!
Be sure to wash your hands if you get joose on them, you don't want that stuff in your eye and it will absorb through the skin. At a high enough concentration it is harmful. I spilled about 5mL of 24mg/mL on my forearm and it turned bright pink for about an hour, looked like a fresh sunburn. I also did not feel the urge to pick up my PV during that time so I know I was getting the nic.
