I have asked this question in a different place before and didn't get any good answers. I'm not interested in them myself but hubby would enjoy vaping much more if he could just screw on a carto and be good for hours.Everything I've found so far sounds like they're difficult to fill. Help please.

It depends on the model of cartomizer. If it is a Kr8-style or GreenCig (or, I believe, 510), it can be filled very easily: using Doggsbody's Carto Cap (aka Condom) Technique, demonstrated here by Doctor Vapor:

If it is a Royal Smokers CE2 or mega eGO carto, then: not so much. :(

[The above photo shows the mega eGO cartomizer. The CE2 is smaller and a different shape, but the process is similar.]

From your other posts, I'm assuming it's for the eGo. And both the joye 510 carto and the mega eGo cartos are harder to fill than most cartomizers. The best bet for your husband would be the mega eGo atomizer and matching cartridge.(also called 'type B' at heaven gifts and 'cylinder atomizer' at cignot). The cartridge holds just as much ejuice as the mega eGo Cartomizer - 2.5ml and can be filled like any other cart. No syringe or needle tip bottle needed. And they last for hours. You can get them many places but just so you know what to get here's one vendor that sells them - you have to get both:

    eGo cylinder mega atomizer
    eGo cylinder mega cartridge

I use these all the time and are my favorite vape. I use the straw mod with them using Johnson and Johnson safety swab shafts for the 'straw' - holds up better than the coffee stirrers, imo. And I do a diagonal cut on top to keep the end off the bridge. This helps in wicking and in filling. I cut the polyfil in half so that there is just ejuice in the bottom of the cartridge well. Fill to where you can still see texture on the top (a smooth bubble is overfilled).
