Okay, a few questions here. I will put them in bullet-point format.

1- I am NOT at all handy, have zero tools, and don't know anyone with a workshop. Is there an easy way to make my Screwdriver able to use 6v?

2- Is there a way that I can avoid having to mod my Screwdriver at all for 6v? A body that I can purchase already modded?

3- What kind of batteries will I need to buy for 6v, and how many?

4- How can I use it as 5v instead of 6v, if 6v is too strong for me?

That's all, any help would be VERY MUCH appreciated!

The batteries you need are Protected cr2, You need two of them. 6volts is to hot for me but the only way to make it 5volt is to put a regulator in it to decrease the voltage or a TI booster to boost the 3.7volt battery it uses now. To mod it , I have a 905 that is supposed to be the same. Anyway if the cr2 batteries fit your alright. If they don't you just have to hone it out so they will. I used a Dremmel and only had to hone the first inch. It took all of 30 sec.

I don't know for sure, but I *think* the answer is no... You probably need some sort of tool to be able to accomplish this... If I'm wrong someone will chime in, this is of course assuming the screwdriver on it's own does not fit two cr2's in it. I wouldn't know as I do not own one.

2- Is there a way that I can avoid having to mod my Screwdriver at all for 6v? A body that I can purchase already modded?
If it is 6v you are looking for, there are plenty of mods out there capable of holding two cr2's. I suggest looking around, there is a thread floating around that links to a page that has every commercially available mod on it.

3- What kind of batteries will I need to buy for 6v, and how many?
The most popular is two cr2's, but I believe there are other ways as well. Basically, any two 3v batteries will do it.

4- How can I use it as 5v instead of 6v, if 6v is too strong for me?
For this you would need a voltage regulator to cut it down. There are plenty of people on this forum who would be able to tell you how to rig that up. The other option being to acquire a TI booster and using just a 3.7v battery and have it boosted to 5v.

Hope this helps!
