i don't vape too much. maybe 30ml in two weeks. but what i'm finding out is when i first open the bottle, the liquid is harsh to vape. by the second week, they are more mellowed out and nicer to vape and taste comes out better too. i think it's called steeping. way things work for me is, i buy liquid as needed. i don't stock them. so what i'm looking for is e liquid that doesn't need steep time.

i'm not peculiar as far as my juice choice is concerned. i'm mostly looking for fruits. something that isn't offensive and something that doesn't taste like dirty socks. any suggestions?

I've found Good Life Vapor to be great fresh out of the box (foob). Saying that, I've found they don't age well. Especially the fruits. The older they get the harsher they get. Thier fruity vapes are great! Solaris (blueberry candy), Corrosion (lime, orange, coconut deliciouness), and Twilight Zone (pinapple, raspberry) being my favorites!!

A lot depends on your personal taste, and to an extent, the equipment you are using. When we first started ordering eliquids, we used VaporBomb exclusively. Most of the eliquids we got from them were good, to us, fresh out of the mailbox. The vape budget comes out of my (fixed) income. I would try to anticipate what we would need a month at a time, so some of the eliquids would get varying amounts of steep time, inadvertently, as we worked our way through the month's order. We were using cigalikes with cartos at the time.

We have since "graduated" to Evods, and have tried several other vendors for eliquids. My daughter likes to try new flavors straight out of the mailbox. Some she likes right away (Apple Buns and Samoan from ITC Vapes, Maple Pecan from VapeWild, and Hawk Sauce from Mt. Baker Vapor are a few that come immediately to mind). On the other hand, I like to try to order enough in advance that all my flavors have time to steep.

There are tons of good vendors out there. You will find a vendor and flavors that work for you. Just keep trying and read the reviews and vendor threads here on ECF.

Since I have seen the drippers and mech mods that you are using, here are 5 recommendations to start out:

lion from illuminati
fisticuffs from microvapery @ goodohmboys.com
blonde mama from vapetrik
banana nut pudding (drippers blend) from ecigoutpost.com
lola (drippers blend) from ecigoutpost.com

I use these at 3mg nicotine. Higher than 6mg will destroy these flavors. With the kind of vapor that your setups will make, higher nicotine is not needed anyway. I have found a few key aspects to finding the best juice for dripping:
1. Vendors that have a smaller selection of flavors tend to make sure that every flavor is spectacular.
2. Even if you don't vape 3mg, if the vendor doesn't have a 3mg or 4mg variant of their juice, the intended market is not vapers who are dripping, and the juice won't work as well
3. Vendors that have a huge selection of PG/VG ratios tend not to have perfected their mixtures for any specific ratio.

Sweet-vapes.com has a Blueberry Muffin that is great out of the mailbox, or after it's been in the drawer for 2 wks. It's so great that I can't keep it around any longer than that, so I dunno how it ages. :D

I have seen you recommend that flavor before, and I just now checked it out again for the second time. The only thing that stops me from ordering it is that they don't offer a 3mg nicotine variant although they do offer all the way up to 30mg nicotine. To me, this is like a red alarm signal with the message, "This juice is for cartomizers".

Two Cans from Casey Jones Mainline Reserve is amazing fresh out of the bag. At $28 for 120mls you can afford to enjoy it well steeped as well. Taste exactly like Fruit Loops with milk!
That's a very good price compared to most vendors. How would you compare the quality to those who are charging $15 to $20 for 30ml?

Umm... 6mg is pretty low; I don't know that I've seen anyplace offer lower, unless they specifically cater to dripping. I don't shop at any of those places. I first tried Hard Rock Vapor's Blueberry Muffin, but they only offer 50/50 PG/VG, which is far too much VG for me. They only offer 0mg, 8mg or 16mg, which is also inconvenient for me, since I vape 10-11 mg. I started getting Sweet-Vapes' version so I could get 80% or 90% PG, and something a little closer to my preferred nic level. Sweet-Vapes does offer 0mg, so you could get 6mg and 0mg and mix the level you like; I often get 6mg and 12mg and mix it the way I like it.

I do realize that I could combine 6 and 0 to get 3. Or I could just add my own VG. But my point was, even if I wanted 6mg, the nicotine levels offered are a tell-tale sign that this vendor does not cater to drippers and the flavors are made specifically for and tested on cartomizers only.

Steeped or not steeped, I have never had a single bottle of harsh liquid from Nicoticket. I'll admit, NT juice does change over a good steep, but fresh out of the box, it is never harsh.
NT makes their juice in larger batches before bottling. They're expanding right now, so if they are making more juice it means that it is already steeping, so to say.
I totally agree that there are many juices out there that are harsh, especially fresh. It's a huge pet peeve of mine. I will not Vape juice that is harsh. Hands down, Nicoticket will not give you a harsh bottle.

From my experience, my local Vape Shop's juices need to be steeped. They release new juices all the time and if you don't steep them they have a very strong "alcohol-y" taste. But they also sell other vendors such as Suicide Bunny, Space Jam, Good Life, Cosmic Fog, Vintage Vapours, NJOY's Artist Series, LICK, etc., and I can say that all those brand's juices are great straight out of the bottle. The other vendors may have a higher price tag, but I've found that they're well worth it.

I've tried steeping some of the juices, but it doesn't seem to make them any better or worse.
