Hello all. Can you tell me if there is any eliquid with USA extracted nicotine and this fact proved? All eliquid manufacturers that tells his nicotine is made in USA when you ask about a certificate for this....tells it is secret or find other things not to show that is really USA extracted nicotine. Some of them send analyses that show purity and majority have the same papers like China imported nicotine.
Maybe it is time to start ask some quastions.

I am just wondering what is the difference between US extracted and eg India extracted nicotine? Corret me if I'm wrong but all (or almost all) gums and patches are made using nicotine extracted in Asia.
The most important thing is the purity of the product. If it's certified then it doesn't matter whether it's extracted in Asia, US or Africa. The key factor is connected with magical code - USP, PhEur or BP (British Pharmacopoeia not Big Pharma of course).

@Link: US-sourced doesn't mean US-extracted.

Don't believe everything the FDA is saying. They speak with forked tongue.

On another note. Please sign our petition. https://wwws.whitehouse.gov/petitio...gov&utm_medium=shorturl&utm_campaign=shorturl

We want e-cigs to be considered as an alternative to smoking and need over 600 more signatures for the White House to make an official comment. We need your help and the deadline is 27 Oct. Register, sign, and tell all your friends.

This issue comes up pretty often. Halo makes the same claim. One can only hope that at these prices, with liquid nic being almost pure profit, suppliers are sourcing the highest quality nicotine they can. But logic tells me most of them are probably going for the lowest price. I'm almost less worried about the China nicotine then I am about the other places its coming from - like central asia and the like.

Can't wait for FDA regulation personally.

Old Chemist speaks the truth.

Just because you buy nicotine at a premium from a distributor/lab/chemical supply company with a US address doesn't mean that it was extracted here.
Just like me buying bottles from US Plastics doesn't mean I'm not going to be waiting on a shipment from China when they are out of stock on an item.
The biggest chemical suppliers are multinational corporations with facilities around the globe. They are going to produce their product wherever is in the best interest of their stockholders and bottom-line.

What matters most is purity and following current Good Manufacturing Practices which meet the requirements of the US Pharmacopeia (USP), or EU, BP equivalent.

I worry a lot more about the unknown and unstudied effects of vaping artificial flavorings than I do about the nicotine, especially given the ratio of each in eliquid.
1.8% nicotine to 10-20% flavoring.

China extracted nicotine can have a quality certificate with 99.999 and for real 89% purity. The china supplier can write what you or they want on certificates..No control..
Dear Friend - I am talking about US certificates, not chinese. Also - most of nicotine is purified additionally before being certified and sold.
