Is there anywhere to get the Ithaka upgrade kit in the U.S.?

I am looking to buy a Ithaka. Never tried or owned one, Hell never even touched one for that matter.

After i seen that upgrade kit that allows you to build without using NR wire i was SOLD!

I know that i can use ready wires and i know making your own wires is easy but i am VERY interested in the upgrade kit and honestly if i cannot find one i might hold off on buying a Ithaka.

With that said, Does anyone know where i can find one in the U.S.? Cannot seem to find them anywhere in the U.S., I can't seem to find them out of the U.S. either.

Anyone happen to know where in the U.S. i can find one? or a site that ships to the U.S. that has a good rep and doesn't have insane shipping?

I haven't followed the news on the Ithaka really. May i ask what the new Ithaka offers that the current one doesn't?

Will it not require NR wire?

Correct, the Ithaka upgrade does not require NR wire. You make a coil with resistance wire only

AWESOME! and these are the new Ithakas that are being released on 3-4? Wow! Talk about perfect timing! Right when i am in the market for one. This is perfect!

NO the Ithaka which will be up for sale will be the ORIGINAL Ithaka with the ceramic internals for NR-R-NR. The upgrade shown above is sold separately but is currently out of stock. You basically switch out your Ithaka internals for the new upgrade.

I sure hope i can get a Ithaka with the upgrade kit installed. I own 2 Kayfuns and a Russian 91% and i am honestly getting a bit tired and bored with the Kayfuns. Plus i have always wanted a Ithaka and now with that upgrade kit, I am wanting 1 even more now.

I emailed them and i guess i need to either buy the Ithaka AND the upgrade kit or the upgrade kit and i can order each piece separately to build my own Ithaka.

So looks like ill be waiting to see if and when a new version of the Ithaka comes out with the upgrade kit installed. 300.00 for a Ithaka and the upgrade is a bit high for me.

Ok i must have gotten confused then. I though yesterday 3-4 was when they were releasing the new Ithaka with the upgraded internals. So your saying this is come thing that is going to happen sometime in the future? Not yesterday? Ok then..

Guess i will just keep a eye open from time to time and see when it pops up.

I have talked to him thru email.

He said they were busy with all the orders they had and that i had to either order the kit and the Ithaka together or i can order the kit and each piece separate and build my own Ithaka.
