What size batteries (in mAh) do you have? I would expect them to do better than you describe. Also what voltage do you run them at usually?

You mentioned that you sometimes don't get them fully charged in one evening? Maybe pick up a second charger so you can be sure both get fully charged up.

Or, if you definitely want to upgrade, the Vamo from VaporBreak is a good deal. You'll also need batteries and a charger. You have to register first at VaporBreak first to see the sale price.

I don't know if anyone else does this, but I always do the 5 clicks to lock my ego batteries between vape sessions.
I've been at work today on a 12 hour shift, vaped 6ml of juice and my little 650mAh ego battery has easily lasted all day.
I've always locked my batteries between vapes, wether this extends battery life or not, I don't know, but it works for me

I have not done any search but look like the 18650 lavatube will do for me. $22 is same price as the twist and the spinner too. Why didn't I know about this when I start. Question, do I need different set of top part (clearomizer, tank, cartomizer, etc)? On batery, what kind of mah on this, how much longer compare to the twist/spinner?

Thanks.

A lavatube for $22? No, more like $122-$140
Advanced variable voltage electronic cigarette

The 18650 batteries are less, $10 - $15 depending on what and where you buy.

If you're on a budget and want to look at mods, investigate the Vamo V2. It is around $45 tube only, so you'll also need batteries and a charger. I recommend the IMR batteries because they are safer. For comparison, look at the eVic, Provari, Lavatube, Zmax etc. Warranty on the Vamo is two months, made in China. Warranty on the Provari is one year, made in USA. Vamo and zmax are VV and VW, Provari is VV only. Evic is high tech, but more fragile.

As for fittings, I think they are all 510 threaded. Most also take ego-T type devices (Vamo, zmax, provari) but do your research.

Get a sigelei zmax from vaporalley, great vendor, for 65 bucks. Then get your charger and batteries from fasttech, another great vendor, the intellicharger I2 is like 14 bucks and for batteries either get the panasonic cgr18650ch, 2 for 10.03, or the panasonic ncr18650pd, 2 for 15 bucks. The cgr's get me a day and a half of heavy vaping, and the ncr's get me about 4 hours more. Those are the best prices and vendors I've found. Then put a kanger protank on top and you will have a great vaping experience. Check vaporjoes.com for some great deals on vaping supplies.

I hate to tell you guys this but recently, I start vaping inside my office too, and every second of my life. That is when I use up the battery so quick. I usually charge each battery at a time and witch when one is done, but there are incident I don't charge it right away when I switch. When I go to public office, I have to take break when I smoke/vape. Then I won't have problem with battery/fluid, since I won't be able to finish them that quick.

Fabricater, I just checked and see that $22.xx is the classic lavatube.

Built-in battery devices are nice, but eventually you will have to buy another unit. Lithium batteries performance decrease overtime and last around 300 cycles depending on many factors like charge/discharge rate, use, temperature etc. Plus, the so called ego, twist, spinner "kits" cost as much or even more than a full featured replaceable battery device! :glare:

1+ for the Vamo V2, I have a lot of expensive devices (evic, provare, zmax, tesla, caravela etc.) and i find myself using the vamo more than anything else, if you do go for the vamo, the stainless steel version is the best. I own 3.

I spent $55 dollars total for my last Vamo + Batteries + Charger. $35 for SS Vamo v2 from Vaporbreak.com, 2X panasonic CGR18650CH for $10 bucks and Nitecore I2 charger for $15 from fasttech.com .

If you want an USA vendor they offer it for around $50 exhalevapors is out of stock ATM but you can get one from http://www.free-cigs.com/Vamo-V2-KSD--Stainless-Steel_p_280.html

fasttech.com is from china but right now has the "vamo kit" in new stock $52.08 Vamos-Vivi Rechargeable 600mAh Electronic Cigarette Health Keeping Set at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
the description is not accurate and i can't tell if it's chrome or stainless steel. also the "kits" have very low quality accessories so you may better get additional quality batteries and charger from the same site.

the most durable battery for a tube device that i know of are Panasonic 3400mah $16.56 Panasonic NCR18650B Rechargeable 3400mAh 3.7V 18650 Lithium Batteries 2-pack - authentic cells / 2-pack at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping these are the unprotected version, perfect for built-in protection devices like the vamo.

Best wishes :vapor:

Wait a min. The twist and spinner are both in the range of 1100mah, while the vamo is only 600mah (description on the link above). How can the vamo is better?

I'd honestly say your best bet for vaping in the office would just be a simple usb-passthrough. There's even a few out there with variable voltage. Just plug it into a USB port or a USB Charger and you're golden. No battery use at all.

$15, comes in stainless or black with a 4' cord-

Mini eGo Variable Voltage Passthrough - MyFreedomSmokes.com

PS- You can get a USB charger for in the car too. A passthrough would cover most of your daily activities, the batteries you have already can fill in the gaps.

I don't want to be the guy who rants on about the provari. I bought one after quitting analogs for a month. It's worked out very well for me.

Apart from the better power control, this thing is durable. The batteries are inexpensive and replaced easy if and when they die. I have 3 batteries and they all seem to be fine after 6 months of use.

You can get a cap to run the 18650 batteries in it. 2 of those would last even the craziest chain vaping monkey.

The batteries that kit comes with are not good, also potentially unsafe if both batteries do not remain at matched voltages. A good IMR 18650 will be at least 2000 mah. VaporBreak carries the Vamo alone, then pick up a good charger and batteries somewhere else.

Thanks everyone very much. Base on your list, I did some search and think I sort down to 3 to choose from, mostly base on price... and hope their bateries last longer than my current twist and spinner. Oh BTW, I watched my bateries today to make sure how long it last to be exact. I don't feel talking hours would be accurate, because one might smoke more than another. Me, I do it continuously. So, I watched my fluid. My spinner 1100mah lasted me around 2.5ml to 3ml. It's out around afternoon. Charged it again and it took forever. Took my twist (1100mah) out at around 3pm or 4pm. After around 2ml or 2.5ml, it's out too, at around 7pm or maybe 8pm.

Ok, so the bigger bateries which I sort out base on what you guys suggested me are below. I can see that there are several looks beautiful. I love them, but for me now, I need to base on:
- give lot of vape/smoke
- last longer than a day.
- price
- reliable,
- and features/protection.
Can you please help verifying and final suggestion? I am very appreciate you are sharing knowledge and experience.

Classic lavatube: $22. 18650 lavatube - VaporBreak

Vamo 650 v2: $39.99 VV650 VAMO V2 (body only) eGo APV - VaporBreak
Oh wow, after registered, it's only $27 now.

Vamo 350: $16. Uses 18350 batery. What wrong with 18350 batery? Stainless-Steel-VV-350 body only (Veri Stack VZ6) - VaporBreak

ZMax v3: From $69. I love the look of the aluminum zmax, but price is twice those I can get above.
Tesla: $80. Ah, I stop searching on the tesla after seeing the price.

I am kind of leaning toward the classic lavatube because of their attractive price. Can someone talk about it? What feature it doesn't have that other does? Is it reliable? Voltage is constant? Thanks.

Additional questions:
Does this fit my twister and spinner and if it's gives lot of smoke? https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10003924/1281801-cobra-electronic-cigarette-round-mouth-atomizer

Thanks again.

Julopy, Why ss is the best? Do you mean performance, or you mean the look? I saw they have the black color one, which I like a lot.

There's a chrome version, which collects fingerprints, but it's not too bad. The dark coloured one scratches up easily and looks very ordinary very quickly. The stainless steel body is the most sought after because of these issues, but the battery tube is still chome I think.

IMR batteries are safer technology. ICR will work fine. Any high drain 18650 will work

A common design, made and manufactured by many. Charge time might be about 8 hours, which is fine. Charging these batteries in 2 hours does not help the longevity of the batteries.

Anything else I must have for now?

All those are cobra rebuildable atomisers, cobra or clones, with 510 threading. They will fit on anything with 510 threads including the Vamo and twists. I'd only recommend them if you really wanted to get into rebuilding with wire and wick straight off.

You should try a range of devices and find out which works for you. Common alternatives are the CE5 clearomiser, the Vivi Nova, Vivi Nova mini, the Kanger T3, and the Kanger Pro. Even cartomisers and CE3 clearomisers might be worth trying, you never know. The only thing I wouldn't suggest at this time would be a dual coil cartomiser tank (Single coil maybe, but not dual).

You might also want to get a range of needle tip bottle, syringes with blunt needles, and a large tackle box to put everything in. Yez' gonna need it. :)
