Is there supposed to be some kind of paper in the atomizer?

Im not quite sure what it is, it looks like white thread now that i look closer.

Just saw some pictures of it, yes its glass fiber wick.

That is silica wick...yes it's supposed to be there...it's what wicks the juice to the coil that heats the juice to make the vapor

Here is a "serviceable" clearomizer, you have a CE4 which is sealed and unserviceable

Learn to take care of it, once it burns or gets icky tastes..you have to replace it, I recommend getting serviceable heads, maybe even a kanger protank mini (bottom coil design) or a vivi nova mini (top coil design) both have coil packs you can pull out and replace if they burn or stop working properly
