Is thier something i can make to check the ohms on a carto

A friend told m thier was something on here that explaind how to make something to check the ohms of a carto not an atty but carto does abyone have that thred or no were it is or no of a way to check the ohms of a carto

Go to Walmart or any auto parts store and buy a cheap volt-ohm meter. They are for sale everywhere for under $20. Harbor Freight and Northern Tools sell several models. Google "how to use a voltmeter" and you will find a lesson on how to use it.

Wouldnt it be the same as a multimeter

Multimeter set to "Ohms" (Ω) will give you the resistance between the Red(+) and Black(-) leads.

Make sure that the Multimeter has a very high sensitivity ohms scale... My old cheap analog meter 1K scale is not nearly sensitive enough for 1-5 ohms.
