Hi guys, I'm just getting started in vaping. (Been using the petrol station type cheap things for about a week) and want to move on to something better, I noticed this on ebay :

Provari, Silver Bullet and accessories. | eBay

and was wondering if it was a decent package and what if anything else I would need to buy to get started up on the more advanced side of the 'hobby'.

Thanks in advance

It's just that everything I have read about the provari, everyone said that they wish they had taken the leap at the beginning rather than mess around with other cheaper devices, so my thinking was that if I get one at the start I will save money in the long run. ;p
I just noticed that one on ebay as it seemed to have a lot of different things that I could try out.
Do you think I would be safer just buying new then?

This is a 1 time so far seller joined ebay January.

I think you should contact the seller; who knows, maybe its somebody in Glasgow!

Includes:provari v2.5 (black with green led), Silver Bullet, evolv Kick, Ezee-Quit ego type battery.2x iClear 30 tanks.2x Kanger protank 2.AGA-T2 rebuildable atomizerPhiniac carto tank with pouch.Drip tip designz tru-stone drip tip.Titanium drip tip.Ceramic drip tip.Trust fire charger (plus a USB charger for the ego type battery)2x ultra fire 18650 batteries.2x AW IMR 18490 batteries. The provari is 2-3 months old and has the normal wear and tear marks on the finish. I can provide more pictures of anything listed if required.

Ya Man don't even think twice about a ProVari if you got the cash GET IT! and don't look back. The ProVari was my first unit and I don't regret it for 1 second. Made in the USA and they back there product. I don't think you can find a better Mod. If you do go to ProVape makers of the ProVari you can get a Starter Kit with everything you need they even throw in a little Juice so you are ready to go when you get it. You will save money in the long run and have a unit that works like a charm.

I wish I had gone with good equipment right out of the gate instead of upgrading step by step

Should I go with the ebay one or just go new? Is the ebay one a decent price?

The one on ebay looks like somebody stopped smoking and is now selling their vape stuff; either that or a scam.
So I'd say either contact seller and make a choice or ignore it because it's a new seller; obviously not a store seller, its a single person sale.

Any recommendations as to what I should upgrade to from a cheap petrol station ecig then?

If you can get an itaste vv v3 and a miniprotank2 that would be a good upgrade. Depends on whats available to you. Since you are in the Uk, you might want to look at fasttech for online sales.

Theres a few places in the uk too; check out the uk forum.

There's Emporium Vapour in Glasgow.

Have a look at this map for UK e-cig B&M's -

I started with a provari..no regrets. Most of my friends started with vamos and one just made the jump to the provari. Also went from Protank to carto tanks and a few weeks ago to a RDA and should have a russian 91% here thursday. Been vaping for 7 months now and learned alot reading here and watching youtube vids. At first everything seem very complicated but with time its become simple.

I agree my hubby started on the provari and he had no regrets but do order from Provape. 11/2 months in and many dollars spent on other mods I ordered 2 reg and the Provape 1 plus my hubby another........it's a great mod you won't be disappointed.

I kinda feel the same, but I wouldn't have learned as much going that route either. I went from 900mAh eGo, to Itaste VV, to MVP2, to Nemesis w/ RDA in about a month and a half. Even though I moved up quickly, I researched and learned along the way.

Ebay purchases are protected by PayPal. Even if something goes wrong, and they do from time to time, you can always get them sorted out. If you are interested in high-end devices, then that is one of the smartest things you can do. The Provari is a fabulous device and certainly top end. Few other APV's can compete at that level. Get the mini. You can add extension easily later, often blinging out the Provari. For toppers, I like:

Clearos:
1. Nautilus
2. Aerotank
3. Protank

Carto Tank:
1. IBTanked
2. Phiniac
3. GP Snp

RTA's:
1. Kayfun (3.1 or Lite Plus)
2. Taifun GP
3. one of the above

I evolved from clearos to cartos to RTA's. I'm exclusively using RTA's and an occasional RBA (Origin or Taifun Dripper). Love the path and evolution I took. If I had to do it all over again, I would buy a Provari and Kayfun day one, learn to rebuild by watching YouTube tutorials, buys some 28/29 gauge kanthal and cotton wicking and DIY my juice (which I did do day one). My vape is excellent and very hard to improve, but I continue to pursue. Very, very happy in Vapeland these days. Good luck, power up and vape on!
