Is this a good Deal on a 901?

Not bad. I got a DSE901 starter of 2 atom and 2 batt and charger and 10 prefilled carts for 40. Got a 10 pack of 3ml samples for 30 from another place, for a total of 70. Adding another battery to that would have been around 12-15 for the same 85 as you're spending. I ended up with more flavors of juice to try you got a USB charger in addition to the wall charger, about the same I'd say.

I see the place you're shopping at also has a USB passthru for 16 bucks. If you spend any time near a computer regularly you'll love using it. You won't be needing batteries and the atomizer is run at 5V instead of 3.7V like on a battery so it'll produce more flavor, vapor and throat hit (at the potential loss of flavor for milder flavors but I've never seen any tobacco or menthol be weak on my passthru). Well worth it IHMO.

It seems like a good deal if you're really adamant about the accessories that you'll get from this kit; however, I can honestly say that once you get yourself a 901 you'll wanna try each and every e-juice you can get your hands on. It's difficult to go an entire day vaping just one flavor.

I think that if you went with the essential kit like bsoplinger mentioned being 2 atomizers, 2 batteries, a charger, and carts you'll have some extra cash to spend on various fluids(your taste buds will thank you later) as well as atomizers and other accessories that you know you'll for sure use. Though in the end, you've already made a very good choice in choosing the 901. I've heard excellent reviews about it.

Novalok, I think that's a pretty complete kit. That's who I got my first kit from. Katy is the proprietor and is in Michigan. When I first started vaping I ordered a "Health e-Cigarette from some guy in Tenn. and the things were junk. The carts that were supposed to last a week were half gone in a day and I was afraid I didn't have time to order more before I ran out and ended up going back to smoking. I found Katy on this forum and she agreed to meet me at a restaraunt to sell me a decent kit and teach me a little about it. She's a sweet lady. You couldn't buy from a nicer person.

You would be much better served to get a 510 than a 901. I would stick with manual batteries. Too much frustration and too many ways for auto batteries to die.

Agreed! And, if you want to avoid most battery hassles, go for the Ego..they last anywhere from 8-10 hours with moderate use.

But, no matter WHAT you buy..GO MANUAL!!!
