This should be posted in the technical forum, model specific forum, and/or the suppliers' forum, but alas, this is where it goes, since this is my first post, and I may possibly be a spammer.

This a KR808d-1 auto battery that seems to be possessed. It is an auto battery that comes on and stays on by itself.

If you get tired of watching the battery come on by itself, then fast foward to the end of the video which shows a burnt cartomizer that was in my shirt pocket when the battery decided to do its thing. I have had 3 of the batteries do this in the past 2 days.

I believe that one of my USB chargers shorted and caused the batteries to short.

There is no audio on this clip.

And, since I can't post links either, because I may apparently also be criminal spammer, replace the "xx" with "tt""-DOT-" in the address above with periods, as this entire post is useless without the video.

Welcome to the forum BigChief! Don't sweat the "spammer" stuff... We all go through it.

Don't know from your post if you have a question about your batteries possessed nature or if you're just trying to make others aware. While I use manual batteries, I have read of others having issues with auto batteries being turned on by ambient noises or a gust of wind. Might be a factor, but again I'm no expert.

Actually, some of both. Others need to be aware, but since this happened to 3 different batteries at the same time, I'd kind of like to get to the cause and maybe a possible prevention in the future.

That's weird... where'd you get your batts from? Have you talked to the supplier? And, how long did you have them before they started acting up?

I've heard of a slew of problems with the KR808D-1 batts in the short time I've been looking (just a few days since I got my kit and joined the forum), but mine doesn't seem to be doing anything demonic.n

The batteries came from 2 different suppliers. One of the batteries was almost 3 months old, and 2 of them were about 2.5 months old. Another 2.5 month old battery has failed since, though it wasn't staying on, it was another problem.

The fact that it is multiple batteries at the same time, from different suppliers, and from different times, is what makes me suspect the charger.

Despite my low post count, I'm not a newbie at vaping. I have tons of supplies, but as a person who chain vapes, the loss of 4 batteries in 2 days is a big hit.

I didnt have this happen to all my batteries but 2 outta 5, i found it to be the a defective wall charger. long story short i started vaping about a year ago i bought a starter kit with 2 batteries ect. all was good until my girlfriend wanted to give vaping a go so i ordered her a starter kit also. after her kit arrived we charged everything up at the house and i decided to take the extra wall charger and leave it at work. following day after i killed my first battery i stuck it on the charger and let it go i found that it charged it way faster then normal but didnt really pay no mind after my second battery died i stuck it on the charge and used the freshly charged battery well to my surprise at my first pull it didnt shut off and i heard the carto siszzling until i unscrewed it tried it again and same thing, pulled my second battery off the charge and the battery did the same thing except it would only stay lit up for about 7-8 seconds or so. So in the end yes defective charger can kill your battery.
